Note
/> I have been given a day pass by Elsa to visit the Museum of Opportunus. I have been informed that I do not have to use it right away. May I go? I would not be physically gone. Only mentally.
/User/O5-03/> You have our permission.
You are to fill out a detailed exploration report upon your return and submit your memories of your exploration for archive purposes.
I would like you to search for information on SCP-1000 if possible.
An interview with this Bonko fellow and any others you find inside the museum.
Could you look for Basil Hallward? He is an old friend of mine. I would like him to return to me.
Can you see if Mr. Lost still visits?
Let me know if you see anything antimemetic.

I look forward to it.

...I mean, they do work here. You kinda have to have something wrong with you to work here.

SCP Researcher/Site Director OC Dr. William James Xander
The mun is 28, the muse is 50.
No smut will be posted on the dash, but sensitive topics such as, but not limited to; gore, torture, human experimentation will be explored. So, viewer discretion is heavily advised. I am not responsible for who curates the content you choose to see.
Anything sensitive such as the topics above will be tagged and put under a "read more" so it is not as readily visible.
Semi-selective: I am going to be fairly open with rping with others, but I will be semi-selective in who I follow back and interact with. Some posts will be open, some will be mutuals only.
More info on the character and rules are on the blog page and will be linked. :>

Yeah...some things are constants, it seems. Death, Taxes, and People who really really shouldn't be working with monsters. And don't even get me started on all of those weirdos who keep asking to download the Mal0 app. I swear, where do they even come up with this stuff.

Ugh, tell me about it. That's the downside of being the most approachable O5. People approach me and ask for favors. At least 20 people have tried to bribe me into letting them do some stupid test. One idiot asked me to let him have dinner with the Plague Doctor.

I try to make a habit of meeting new faces. My main actual job is to be the "everyman" on the council. Ground them and such. So I try to meet and talk with a lot of people. Plus it beats hanging out with Gears.

So, as far as we know, yes. Issac would possess anyone who wore this thing and basically wipe them to sit in the driver's seat. Problem being that I'm the guy who picked it up and...well, he couldn't exactly get rid of me so he's just kinda...here.
Functionally I'm the containment procedure.
[He slips the amulet back under his yellow jumpsuit.]

No, it's fine. Unlike most of my colleagues, I've got nothing worth hiding. Ask away. I'll let you know if anything is classified.

[Simon pauses, then laughs a little.]
Thanks for your concern, but that's not how my anomaly works, thankfully. No, I'm just...well, simplest way of putting it is "Immortal" though "unchanging" would be a better description.
[He stops, turning to his left.]
Issac says it's nice to meet you too.

Good to meet you William. Probably should tell you this up front, but I'm an O5. Now before you freak out, calm down. All I handle is maintenance. Basically looking at King of the Janitors.
...Oh right, yeah, I've also got this thing.
[He pulls out an instance of SCP-963, which hangs around his neck. The core gemstone is purple rather then red.]
I'm not the one in it, that's Issac. He's just kinda...stuck up here in the back seat.
[He taps his head.]
I've come to understand this thing is not the kinda thing you want someone to see without explanation.
Probably a lot to drop on someone, but I prefer to open with that then have someone figure it out later and freak like I turned into 682 or something.

Hello. I'd like to submit a formal request for a dedicated workspace within Site-19. I'd like to be able to modify it to my liking. In exchange, I will be willing to construct devices at your request, for your use as you see fit.
@severed-sentinel
/User/O5-03/> I am willing to assign a room to you in an old maintenance section away from containment. You will be subjected to weekly searches of this workspace like all overs. Furthermore you are not to compromise the structural integrity of the building. /User/O5-03/> Are these terms reasonable?
