I love numbers and I get bored sometimes, so on this blog I’m gonna be comparing the numbers of replies on quiz posts to the number of people who actually got those results :-)main: nightingalea113

This outfit building gender uquiz by @sheepwizard (thanks for sharing the results!) has a total of 14 results: mxlf, emo, tenured professor, stephanie lazytown gender, gamer, pirate, subway witch, art museum gay, bowling alley, citrus, new jersey, farmers market wizard, flower indulgence, and tobias funke gender.
The results from the quiz are broken down like so, for a total of 124,568 takers as of May 4, 2021 at 4:37 PM, PST:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(tobias funke gender is 0.7% of the results)
Quiz takers posted their answers in the comments and reblogs of the post a total of 1,173 times, with the last recorded reply posted on May 4, 2021 at 4:01 PM, PST:

The changes in these two charts are shown here (notes % divided by results %):
Tumblr media
In comparison to the actual results of the quiz, the notes of the post show:
an impressive increase in takers who recieved tobias funke gender, multiplied by nearly nine times, a significant enough number that a whole 8.2% of takers who got the result also shared it in the notes. A lot of them commented on how rare their gender was, possibly explaining this increase
farmers market wizard and subway witch both showed a large increase in the notes, and were two of the top three comments I saw, despite being less than a combined 10% of the actual results
tenured professor was third most common result, and the only top six result to show a significant increase in the notes. I guess people just really liked that one
new jersey and citrus both had their representation in the notes cut in half and I have no idea why. I did see several new jersey commenters who were confused by what their result meant.
mxlf and emo, the top two results, had the lowest representation in the notes, with mxlf showing only 0.3% of quiz takers commenting on the post. This seems to be a trend for top results.

This why are you intimidating? uquiz by @thegirlthatsdancingintherain (thanks for sharing the results!) had 6 results: you’re kind, you’re mysterious, you’re beautiful, you’re smart, you’re honest, and you’re confident
The results from the quiz are broken down like so, for a total of 187,190 total takers as of April 23, 2021 at 1:15 pm PST:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Quiz takers posted their answers in the comments and reblogs of the post a total of 884 times, with the last recorded reply posted on April 22, 2021 at 6:10 am PST:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The changes in these two charts are laid out here (notes % divided by results %):
Tumblr media
In comparison to the actual results of the quiz, the notes of the post show that:
you’re beautiful is the most posted result, with a 62% increase made up of people either rightfully flattered by the result or insistent that it’s wrong (I promise you, it was the correct result <3),
you’re honest is the runner-up, with takers apparently staying true to their result, and
you’re smart has the lowest representation, just two-thirds of its actual piece of the pie.
you’re mysterious shows hardly any leaning either way, from an inconspicuously enigmatic group of takers

this gender uquiz by @grocerystoredean (thanks for sharing the results!) has six results: gay kindergarten teacher, male thot, 80s movie man, mx frizzle, male wife (enemy of the state), and secret good dean winchester
The results from the quiz are broken down like so, for a total of 144,671 total takers as of April 22, 2021 at ~10:13 pm PST:

Quiz takers posted their answers in the comments and reblogs of the post a total of 1,177 times, with the last recorded reply being on April 22, 2021 at 10:16 pm PST:

The changes in these two charts are laid out here (notes % divided by results %):
Tumblr media
In comparison to the actual results of the quiz, the notes of the post show
more than double the amount of secret good dean winchester results
those who got mx frizzle were also noticeably more prone to posting about it than others, and
takers who received male thot gender showed up the least, cutting their numbers almost in half.
gay kindergarten teacher had lower numbers in the notes than in results, but that seems to be a common theme for top results
Interestingly, 80s movie man had almost the exact same amount of representation in both pools, taking up less than a single percent of space more in the notes than in the results
