Urban Home Builders has been in Austin for 21 years. About 1/3 of the way in to that history, we became big time with the opening of the Frost Tower. On a walk with a client who was building atop the hill above Umlauf Sculpture Gardens, I snapped this picture. Their view is to die for and oh how that view has changed in the last decade! - Gary Zygmont

Stainless steel counter tops and a soapstone island really made this Kitchen look great. That pantry in the corner is much bigger then you think, too. - Gary Zygmont

A seamless transition from interior dining to exterior dining. Big shout-out to Paul DeGroot, the architect behind this lovely design. It was a pleasure to build. And look at the wall art piece.

It's been great watching this long time Austin family raise their kids here. We built this house about 10 years ago and as you can see from one of our prior before and after posts, look how quickly nature takes over and grows in! - Gary Zygmont.

While finishing up this gorgeous home our painter was tasked with the challenge of getting the client's favorite shade of red on these Alder Custom Cabinets. Success! No matter the client's request, I work to make their dream home come true. From vaulted ceilings to cabinet finishes. - Gary Zygmont.

Another #BeforeAndAfter that I love. This custom home was built for a growing family that needed more space. And more bedrooms! Perhaps my favorite part of the build was the super friendly neighbor that lived there since it was a only a dirt road. I miss those morning conversations before beginning my work on the house. When I take on a project it's never just about the house. It's about the people who will live inside it. I build every house as if it were my own.
