don’t mind him.  he’s just…visibly hesitating when it comes to giving her this gift he made her.  he’s always been fond of knitting,  mostly thanks to his mother.  it isn’t much,  but he’s got a hat folded in his hand,  as well as matching earmuffs he had to buy wrapped up in a box.  they were only purchased because he had no idea how to make those,  and she always seemed so cold.  ‘  i didn’t want to interrupt time with your family,  so it’s a little late but…merry christmas,  uraraka.  ’  he’s plopping the hat on her head with a soft hum.   /  @urchko

   he has a gift on his hands, that much is clear to her, but it doesn’t seem logic to assume it’s for her. as absurd as that sounds, it’s true ! maybe he’d ask it to deliver it to someone else, she thought. though, shōto proves her wrong when he... hands it to her ?

      kirishima would be lying to himself and everyone around him if he said he didn’t see a change in his classmate after her internship with gunhead. but he does try to be as honest as he can, which means it’s hard for him to deny that fact that her abilities are amazing. not only was she able to keep up with bakugou during the sports festival, but she’s completely kick ass now that she’s gone and developed her hand-to-hand combat. he may or may not be a little smitten with her at the moment — nothing romantic, his head doesn’t run in that sort of direction. 

       staring is rude. “you’re so cool, uraraka.” you can’t tell women they’re manly can you?

   uraraka isn’t initially aware of the watching eyes over her. after the sparring session with a classmate for training, her mouth’s a little dry, but her steps don’t lack that characteristic energy of hers when she approaches her bag. kirishima’s voice makes her head snap upwards, and the compliment has her bashful.

   todoroki seems like the type of boy to keep to himself most of the time, if not all. that’s one thing they have in common, as far as she’s concerned. it takes her by surprise when she feels her shoulder weigh down, head turning in a heartbeat towards him; she can’t see him very well, but she figures it’s for the best. she’d be embarrassed having him see her sheepish, flustered expression.

   uraraka stays still for a moment. her idle hands are stiff and clueless as to where to sit, so she places one atop his shoulder; only in case he slips off, she tells herself. she’s unfocused and restless. he’s never been this close to her, and neither has she. strangely, it doesn’t feel too out of place.

   coming to school without the bento box you worked so hard on is, as far uraraka knows, closest to a modern tragedy. she could eat from the cafeteria, she knows, but she can’t help to sit and wonder what her bento looks like on the kitchen’s counter top, all neatly wrapped and ready.

   she didn’t mean to, but her staring got lost as her thoughts played on. it’s when momo gestures her snack in an offering way that she snaps out of it, cheeks flushed and stuttering.   ❛   o—oh ! momo - chan, it’s fine !! i’m not that hungry anyway !! i appreciate the offering though… !   ❜

   she’s been waiting a little over seven minutes at the school’s gate now, looking around for anything that’d catch her attention. earlier, she had agreed with kirishima for a studying session over her place, but there was no sign of him. that promptly changes; there’s the nearing sound of running footsteps, and she only has enough time to turn around before being embraced by another body. the impact has her stumbling back and perplexed, but quickly laughs the confusion off and reciprocates the hug.

   she can barely feel her body, let alone move her weight after blinking back into reality. immediately, she recognizes where she is; the bus, and where they’ve just come from, training. the faint chatter seats away from her sounds underwater and like nonsense. uraraka is barely on her senses when she catches a glimpse of something through her peripheral. a glimpse of someone.

   like cold water hitting her face, she instantly feels a jolt run through her and fully awakens. her head lifts from his shoulder, hair falling on her face, arms locked around his. she can’t recall when she fell asleep, nor can she guess for how long. she must’ve moved unexpectedly sharp; next to her, she feel midoriya stir and slowly wake up. uraraka withdraws slower than she intended, feeling a heat of sorts across her cheekbones.
