“I’m tired.” You mumbled into Jihoon’s chest. Earning a sigh from your boyfriend.

“Then why don’t you just go to bed?” He asked, for the nth time this evening.

You knew he’d pull an all nighter, and his reason was always the same:

‘I’ll work in advance, so we have more time together on the other days, especially the weekends.’

He didn’t force you to stay with him every time he pulled an all-nighter, it was your own stubbornness.

And here you were, actually deciding on if you should stay stubborn, or just give in to his suggestion.

“But I don’t want to leave you alone here, pulling an all nighter all by yourself.” You reasoned.

But that was a lie, the actual reason was that you just couldn’t sleep peacefully without Jihoon next to you.

And he knew it too, because Jihoon knew you like the back of his hand, means, that wasn’t a secret.

A yawn escaped your soft lips once again, pushing you more into your sleepy state.

He glanced at his monitor once again before he began clicking away on his keyboard.

So, not even a second later, the studio was dark, and you could only feel your boyfriend picking you up.

Immediately, you wrapped your legs around his waist, as he began carrying you out of the studio.

“Time for sleep then, pretty girl, let’s go to bed together.” Your boyfriend said.

Jihoon only got a mumble. “Okay” But he knew how tired you were, so he didn’t need anything else.

And you knew he was tired too, but that could never beat the love he had for his job, and for you.

Gently placing you on your side of the bed, Jihoon plopped down on his.

Spooning you from behind, as he put a light kiss on the crown of your head.

The warmth of his body, him and that good perfume of his lured you even more into your deep sleep.

“Good night, baby, I love you. Thank you for being so supportive about everything. Rest now, love.”

I think it’s time for us to all collectively return to the library. Get a card, go to a club meeting, volunteer on an off day, rent some equipment. You don’t even have to read a book. But since the digital world is rapidly becoming a subscription-only hellscape requiring a criminal amount of private personal information to use even CASUALLY, the library has become our last safe haven to just exist with information present and not have our labour or information exploited for money.
