A/N: The metal rods in the Golden Senator's head stabilize electrical signals sent to his brain. Essentially, they're cool looking conductors. They're made of copper and coated in a layer of lead, minimizing the risk of outside electrical interference.

Cladwell The River is very strict on water preservation. The methods of punishment for not following preservation guidelines — which includes unauthorized consumption, unnecessary hygiene, and, of course, avoiding the fees at public amenities — are... rather harsh, as you may have seen earlier with Lockstock and Barrel.
