he is quite calm, but also shrewd, it is rare that you find him off guard enough to make him blush
while cami loves to make you blush, look nervous and so on, he blushes too, not often but when he does he is a complete mess
a very pretty mess
you noticed that camilo was distracted, laughing with a lady who was resting on a bench in the city. you approached him, he was going to greet you casually but you took his face between your hands and kissed him, something brief but enough to leave him in shock. he kissed you back and was going to say something about it but you walked away without saying a single word, with a big smile
"ay ni帽o, you're so red"
he is ashamed to admit it, but he goes crazy with his own thoughts
dolores has heard him giggling, squealing and sighing, blurting out your name or random things. she just looks at him with a mischievous grin afterwards
you and camilo couldn't see each other today, you were busy with your family and you told him the day before so he didn't go for you. although he thought about going to say hello... no! you were busy, but he missed you:( he tossed and turned in his bed, grunting, when he was still he looked at the nightstand next to his bed, "oh, their little bracelet" it was a matching bracelet you had, you left it there once and whenever you came back you used it as an excuse, saying you came to get it and stayed for hours there. you didn't need an excuse but for camilo it was so cute
"them would forget a wedding ring?" he casually blurted out looking at the bracelet in his hands, after processing the words his breath left him for a few seconds, "ay diosito, un anillo de bodas..." he threw the bracelet away, covering his mouth with both hands, "oh come on, i'm fifteen" he laughed a little, his cheeks decorated by a strong blush, he started laughing happily. he hugged his pillow tightly as he rolled over in bed some more. "yeah he misses them huh" dolores laughed on the other end of encanto
he would prefer you to get along with his family, they are all very important to him so seeing you get along with them would be great for him
but sometimes he wished you and his older sister weren't best friends
dolores was delighted with you, since the first time you went to dinner with the family she has totally adopted you
still remember how the girl brutally moved camilo's chair to sit next to you, he was offended and even more so when you just smiled and started talking to her
and so it is every time you dine at his home
the girl hears you coming and waits for you at the door of the house, not even giving you time to greet camilo to take you to do anything with her
camilo complains about it but dolores' answer is always the same, "i am older than you so shut up".
but he never did anything to separate the two of you, his sister didn't have many friends because they all went straight to other people in the family, it actually made him very happy to see her excited about her new friend and he would never ruin that for her
and obviously those things made him fall more in love with you
pepa loves you too, making her son happy is enough but she definitely takes the time to get to know you, the relationship between you is very good
to have camilo all in love and happy, dolores entertained, antonio looking to play with you and talking a lot. this woman loved you
no matter how hot it is, whenever you go to camilo's room he will wrap you in the sheets, hug you tightly and start attacking you with kisses all over your face
"is it necessary to be in the sheets? i'm melting in here."
"so you won't be able to escape. besides, wouldn't you melt anyway with this handsome boy?"
"... i hate you."
"yeah right, now stop moving."
because of his sister and cousins he knows how to do hairstyles, lots of hairstyles. whenever he arrives you have your hair down and when he leaves you have a hairstyle, he is good at that!
of all the things he has in common with his sister, an interest in romantic books is one of them
so camilo borrowed this book of love poems a long time ago and since he met you, every little poem ends up being about you
at first about finding feelings, then being in love felt so good, then that rejection hurt (he hadn't even confessed yet, it was just drama)
then when you became a couple, camilo loved to write you letters from time to time (very time to time) with those poems, if his sister found out she would kill him but it was worth it to see your smile when you read them
and you already knew most of his family, only his mother's. whenever felix would make a comment about his family camilo would say "THEY SHOULD KNOW (Y/N), YES THEY WILL LOVE THEM".
anyway, cami loves you very much and always makes sure to let you know <3

he is definitely in love with you, very much in love with you
he confessed very simply but made it very special, a small date in a place away from town, alone, after a long talk of feelings, life, whatever
"but well, we are young and worse things will happen to us, right?" you smiled, turning your head to look at him, you were lying next to him on the grass
"yeah, i guess..." he also turned around, now your faces were just inches apart "i really like you."
"i like you too, i really do."
his heart racing, he tried to calm himself but a stupid, love-filled smile appeared on his lips as he turned completely towards you, resting his head in his two hands. "not like this, i- i'm in love with you."
you were surprised, of course, but his words also made you so happy
his heart was pounding, waiting for an answer. he parted his lips a little to say something but he couldn't and just waited
you blushed as a smile appeared on your face, you turned around as you laughed. camilo sighed, laughing too "what does that mean?"
"what? well, that, i'm in love with you" he kept laughing.
he cherished these moments, unconsciously smiling more at the thought of how good you made him feel. "i'm in love with you too."
he covered his face with his hands, he didn't expect to blush more, he couldn't see himself but he could feel his face burning
he sighed but immediately his breathing shortened as he felt you wrap your arms around him in an embrace, you passed your arms around his neck and he was soon clinging to your waist tightly, smiling into the crook of your neck as he unconsciously pulled you on top of him
you separated a little to see his face, he was still smiling and still blushing, he tightened his grip on your waist. "give me a kiss" he murmured
you didn't hesitate to do so, bringing your lips together in a kiss. it was short, but you made sure to get close enough to him
he let out a chuckle as he let go of your waist and took your face in both hands, pulling you into a deeper kiss. he pulled you as close as he could, not letting you go until you were both out of breath
and again, again, again
neither of you two stopped smiling all afternoon, camilo walked absentmindedly around the house with a smile on his face, giggling at the memory of you and the scene in general, everyone noticed.
"camilo, why so happy?" alma asked as she took a seat, camilo held back a giggle as he looked at his grandmother "nothing, just, life. don't you think life is nice? i smile at life."
earned funny looks from the whole family, but attention quickly turned to dolores, who squealed.
"he confessed to (y/n), everything went well and now they are dating."
the family took it well, especially after seeing how happy the boy was. there was a comment or two that they wanted you to go to dinner, but it wasn't the most important thing
so you may already know that camilo has a joking personality, but that is the part he shows to everyone, secretly he is very romantic and attentive, maybe he is a little silly sometimes but that doesn't take away that he is a gentleman just like his father, he learned from the best
loves spending time with you, you usually only greet him when he is babysitting as usual and he reminds you that at 6 o'clock you will meet him at a certain place
your dates are quiet, where he can spend time with you, hold you in his arms or vice versa while you talk about anything, most of the time you bring food with you
i swear this guy never runs out of conversation topics, he can even talk about how funny it is that the leaf he just plucked from the ground is perfectly folded
and if you guys are just relaxing in his room, he definitely wants your hands on him. play with his hair, count his freckles, whatever, camilo loves to be loved by you
he doesn't forget important dates, he has a worn out notebook where he writes down things he feels he should read often and there are dates like your anniversary, your birthday, things like that.
whatever, you guys are so cute and in love, pepa loves you both so much but dolores is so tired of listening to you both that she wants to tear her ears off every time you start. anyway she is happy for her little brother, she knows he loves you very much and appreciates you a lot
antonio loves you so much! he likes you very much, especially for the fact that you make his brother happy but also because you agree to play with him, so yes, the boy approves of you. and felix too, he is proud of his son and has grown fond of you because of how much camilo talks about you
