the tumblr girlies (gender-neutral) get exclusive access to radical builds before I throw them on tiktok
(the dripleaves n smaller lotus flowers do a great job of diversifying the lily pad bridge enough for it to look good even without the resource pack changing em up, I just really like how it looks like this :D)

•Village Transformation #3
Found this lovely village by a lake, with great surroundings overall, and a lot of houses to work with:
So, I started by shifting some of the houses around (using structure blocks) to give them more space, and also deleting some of the small houses I wasn’t going to use.
You can see it’s way more organized now xD so then I transformed the pier (god I love the pier) and the farms, and finally the houses, finishing off with the pathways and final decorations (a well and an open lil park of sorts)
I installed Chisel and Bits recently and oh boi was I having a blast with it. You may not recognize it because of the texture pack, but the block used for the trim on the roofs, foundation of the houses and other details is polished diorite, a block that does not have slabs or stairs (in 1.12.2 at least). Also the trim is thinner than a full block, it’s actually half polished diorite half spruce planks (it was a pain to make god you guys have no idea)
Also the spruce log stairs and walls were made with Chisel and Bits, as well as the bird pole thing on the garden.
Overall I am astonished by the results, I’ve never made a village this colorful before :D
•Texture Pack: Mizuno 16 Craft.
•Mods Used: Biomes O’ Plenty; Dynamic Trees; Landlust Furniture Mod; MrCrayfish Furniture Mod; Chisel and Bits; Fairy Lights; Biome Bundle.
