Around 2020 I started taking more care of my hair, a care that was evident because my hair was coiling and curling on it's own at times. Like, of course, my coils popped off right after showering but it also had nothing on it, so understably they would go away at the slightest inconvenience, and I wasn't throwing fits over it not staying as heavy coiled right there after.

It's 2025. I don't have vested interest in flexing my coils anymore, if it curls it curls if it doesn't, who gives a shit. It was fun when it lasted.

All sorts of girlies, on their hands and knees, crying, throwing up, wailing, screaming and begging and swearing up and down that their hair is curly. It sure is. And I believe you that it is... My would also be if there was 7 products on it, 4 of which are equivalent of putting on glue. For one, you're washing down the drain such an exorbitant amount of money, it offends my eyeballs. You might as well just buy few curlers and just spritz your hair with water like peasant victorian girl or what fucking ever. Secondly, your hair cannot be that coily if you need to spent 6 hours in a bent over position just make sure it does actually stay that way. Or in general, there is soo many tips and tricks on keeping it that way, but if you were curly girly, wouldn't it just be, you know... A natural state for it or something? With lots of extra frizz? Look, my curls usually don't last the night, and for a long time now, not that long after they dry up and I'm at peace with that. I don't need the approval of other curly girlies.

But like my bigger problems is that a lot of these are... Well perhaps universal, however, I personally, cannot shake of the feeling that you all just ripping off women of colour, specifcially black women, off of their skills and knoweldge and don't even fucking credit them. I knew that one tip and I have seen it elsewhere only once, in a desolate video uploaded in like 2009 by a queen trying to be helpful, along with teaching you how to tie a scarf around. And thievery is not cool. I'm a massive bitch and I took to heart to remember my lessons and importantly; the people who taught them.
