CHAEYOUNG can’t help a small smile when she sees wendy’s reaction to the cream puff she’s just taken a bite out of. it was endearing, though she’d never admit that. at least not out loud. but maybe not even to herself. she glances down at her plate, internally debating over whether she should taste her own cake first or the cream puff wendy had given her. ultimately choosing the cream puff, she bites into the sweet treat and slowly chews while listening to the other woman in front of her speak, swallowing before she utters her response. “oh please, i wouldn’t consider this work~” she grins cheekily, her own way to reassure wendy that she wasn’t exactly taking up chaeyoung’s time, since she noticed the apology in the older’s smile. “this is more like, hanging out with a friend while doing something i enjoy.” she pauses to again take a sip of her drink and wash down the remaining taste of the cream puff in her mouth. “i’m glad to hear that you managed to meet your deadline~ though you should probably find time to make up for those nights you stayed up late.” the artist herself is no stranger to late nights or even all-nighters in an attempt to battle deadlines, but she always makes sure to get her much-needed rest after completing her work. she hopes their little meeting isn’t in the way of wendy getting said rest. “i don’t think i asked you this before, but what do you do for work?”

the smile that spread across MINA’s face upon hearing ryujin’s agreement to her proposal is so wide that it almost hurts, but she’s quick to catch herself and reel back her reaction before her eagerness becomes all too evident. with her lack of experience in the dating department, she too has never shared a sleeping place with someone she’s interested in, but to do so with ryujin has her feeling both excited and nervous. feelings that take the form of butterflies in her stomach as she glances down at her and ryujin’s joined hands, and she has to take in a breath to muster up the courage to gently intertwine their fingers.

finished with her own unpacking, mina turns to ryujin upon hearing her speak, breaking the comfortable silence that fell between them earlier while they were settling in. she follows ryujin’s lead in pushing her suitcase under the bed as she takes in the other’s suggestion, not needing to do much thinking to nod in agreement a moment later. “i am feeling a little hungry, so that sounds like a good plan,” she says with a soft smile. “we had a long journey and spent some more energy on settling in, it’d be best to stay in and rest for the rest of today.” she’s already up on her feet and walking towards the door, intending to head to the kitchen—if she could remember where it is. “how about we make something together? it could be a nice bonding experience~” as if they aren’t already alone in a cabin in some woods.

taking her first step into the hallway, mina finds comfort in knowing that ryujin would be right behind her, so she wouldn’t actually get lost. she visibly relaxes, seen in the way her shoulders slump slightly, as she begins walking, letting out a quiet sigh of relief when they eventually reach the kitchen—that wasn’t too hard at all, though it isn’t like the cabin is a mansion. turning to face ryujin, the japanese woman wears a bright smile. “what should we make?”

To say that Ryujin is nervous is a severe understatement. She hasn't been to the lakehouse in years, a place that holds a lot of memories for the woman and never has she taken someone there. Mina is special, she's not really the best at showing that but she hopes that today she can do so.

"KIM ARI! PUT IT DOWN!" A heavily accented voice yells chasing the younger child around as she laughed. They were holding a lighter in their hand.

"NO!" Greyson growled a really old friend of Jooheon and Jay as he chased her around.

"Hey where's your-" Said tall man opened the backyard's screen door before stopping in his tracks. "I think that's my queue to leave..." He slowly started walking backwards.

"You BETTER NOT! COME BACK HERE AND DEAL WITH THIS CHILD!" Jooheon just whistled as he looked around walking further back before slowly closing the screen door.

"KIM JOOHEON YOU BRAT-" He quickly out smarted Jay, picking her up and slinging her on his shoulder.

"Let me go you old man! I want to set your pool on fire again!" She wiggled around as he walked back inside.

"No you're not- I'm not scrubbing scorch marks off my pool side again." He shook his head as he sighed. "Now you're going to sit in the living room and colour in a colouring book while me and Jooheon cook or you get no cookies."

"So I add this..." Bonnie's heavily accented voice spoke as Emilia nodded her head proudly.

"Yes and now what else?" Bonnie looked over the different herbs, practicing her potion making was a lot harder then she ever thought it would be.

"Um...this..." She said more unsure as she picked up some twigs. Emilia squealed and clapped her hands nodding quickly.

"Yes exactly! You're making so much progress!" She hugged the younger girl who just giggled and blushed embaressed.

"Thank you Em, I have the best teacher after all." She smiled up at her before going to write some stuff in a journal and to continue the potion.

"I'm done! My turn for butterfly clips princess!" Ace snorted as he hugged his arm back.

"Alone day is best day.~" Marci hummed to themselves as they walked down the street. They were doing some window shopping on their own, enjoying the cool summery breeze as they walked. They had a pair of headphones in, their last destination for the day being a nearby park. They were going to have a small picnic by themselves and preparing to do some sunbathing.

In the shopping district...terrible idea.

"Leo I'm not sure about getting ANOTHER dress..." Ani said as she pouted looking at the bags the man was holding. Said man propped their sunglasses on his head and raised an eyebrow at her.

"No." He grabs her hand and drags her around. "Now let's go~ Shopping never waits for anyone~" Lelani whines but follows her best friend around with a pout.

"Yeah yeah, just finish so I can tuck them away." They pout with a tiny whine before standing up fully. "Let's go home. I need to lay down and stretch my wings-"

SN. happy valentine’s day, everyone ! valentine’s day is the one day of the year when my flower shop is usually the busiest, and today was no different. i had customers coming in to buy flowers throughout the whole day, from the moment the shop doors opened for business to a few minutes before closing time. there were couples coming in together, people stopping by to pick up a surprise bouquet for their significant other, there were even a handful of people who bought multiple bouquets ! maybe to give to their family or friends ? valentine’s day really is such a beautiful day, isn’t it ? just a day full of love, regardless if it’s romantic or platonic or familial. which is why even though it’s such a busy day for me, i still tirelessly tend to every one of my customers and put lots of care into preparing their flowers

MN. both the bakery and café did a valentine’s day special today ! almost all of our treats and pastries were valentine’s themed ! love was in the air today and we tried our very best to capture that in our cookies and biscuits and sweets~ what better way to celebrate this lovely day and the sweetness of love than by sharing a sweet heart-themed treat with your loved ones ?

MM. a certain someone wanted to learn how to cook better, so she asked me to teach her. she has tried making a few dishes for dinner for a few nights now and is doing great so far ! i’m so proud~

NY. don’t get me wrong, i knew how to cook before, but my skills were . . . limited to only simple dishes. but now i’m learning how to make harder ones ! i realized that cooking is a valuable life skill, so i thought it wouldn’t hurt to try picking it up. better late than never, right~ ?

DH. since we both didn’t have anything else to do, tzuyu and i spent the day out and about together. we didn’t really have any plans on where to go or what to do, we just drove around and stopped by wherever we felt like stopping

TY. that’s how we found this park ! it’s a little far from the city so there was a really pretty view. we also went to soul cup for a quick bite before we went home. overall, it was a relaxing experience~ i guess you can say we spent the day out healing ^^
