it’s even funnier! 旗 in 旗野 (Hatano) means flag but 龍 in 龍二 (Ryuji) is read as “Ryu” but it can also be read as “Tatsu” just like the kanji for 立つ which means “Stand up”. His name literally means “The standing flag”

I don't know jp but apparently the Hata in Hatano means flag and that's such a funny way for both the author and the god of that world to fuck around with Mob. A walking flag.

ok so apparently the author announced the release of a book focused on the high schooler characters so it's very likely the event will be connected to the release of the book.

Theres gonna be a Zettai BL event with the drama cd seiyuus in april next year so everyone I follow in Twitter is discussing whether this would lead to an anime adaptation or not.
