It's really hard to get an idea just from a picture for how sharp this knife is. The edge is only about one quarter of an inch long from the tip.. which is perfect for shaping the emboucher and tone holes. Quite often, I have no choice but to make my own tools to accomplish the task at hand. (at U.S. Wood and Metal)
