"To think they would go this far.." Indigo glanced at the men before them, taking their appearance in and weighing his options. A stranger and his... friends? but has shown nothing but kindness and on the other end, also strangers but are out for blood, his specifically. "..." He was not really the person to rely on others but this incident isn't giving him much choices but too. "Please help me but if I feel any sort of danger from you or anyone else I won't hesitate to defend myself." Indigo moved up only slightly to be able to make eye contact but the pain traveled across his body like an electric shock, exhaling sharply Indigo slacked back down and exhaled. Closing his eyes he remained perked for any signs of disagreements on his words, he let himself be at the mercy of the man's cleaning and healing. Why were they after him in the first place? Why go through all the trouble to track down one Vastayan, what's their motivation? Money, personal reasons, being an absolute mental could all be reasons. But for the time being he should focus on getting healed and out of the area.
Indigo groaned followed by a deep sigh as he slid down the trunk of a tree he was leaning against, pain emitting from the wounds he received just an hour before. Cursing lightly he reached for his pack and rummaged till he found some gauzes and some self-made disinfected and went to work on cleaning the wounds. Taking caution with a particular one on his side. Indigo leaned back and closed his eyes, some people were the worst.
His fingers were casually moving through strings sending serene hums through the forest. Today was beautiful. Everyone was either busy with their daily jobs or wandering around the woods. At least it was so until whispers of bugs and the greenery reached his ears. A butterfly landed on his finger.
“Hm? Wounded?” He frowned and the critter fluttered away.
“Your Highness, have you heard?” A scout called out from below.
“About the wounded Vastayan? Yes, I just did.” Amiran gracefully leapt down to the ground. “Accompany me.” The other nodded. A few others silently joined them along the way. Even if Amiran didn’t ask for it, he knew that his safety is always looked after. A few deer had suggested to give them a lift and he gladly accepted - anything to get to those in need quicker. With their help the trip didn’t take long.
“Do not show yourselves until I call.” Amiran reminded his faes. The last thing he wanted was to scare the stranger. He lifted his hand signalling to stop as soon as his eyes landed on the Vastayan. The King got of the deer and scratched their chin as a thank you. Amiran carefully approached the person. The sight of the wounds made his heart sting. The injuries were way worse than the bugs were telling him.
“Oh stars..” Amiran clutched his chest. “Oh you precious little thing. Who did this to you? Please let me help you. Can I?”

Indigo could feel the warmth from the healing magic spread from his wound to down his arm and seeping into his chest, letting out a quiet, content sigh he relaxed back against the tree. Looking up at the mystical looking person. “Indigo. Is.. my name.” Ears folding back slightly. “I was jumped when I was in the town not to far from here, as I was re-supplying.” Indigo was sure he didn’t need to say more about the situation.
“I.. Did my best but I don’t think I did a very good job if I’m being honest.” He tried moving to adjust himself but quickly decided against it, clutching even harder at his side. With a small sigh, he gave in and nodded in response to their question. Using his free hand he unbutton his cape and slid it off with little trouble, it was his jacket and tank underneath that will pose some trouble.
“I need a little help, if you don’t mind.”

Indigo stared at the flower in awe, biting the inside of his lip with a deep look before he looked up at the person before them. They seemed genuine in their words and he look trustworthy enough.. but looks alone don’t base the person. But in his current situation his options were small... Letting out breathe he didn’t know he was holding, he nodded slowly.  “I.. accept your offer but I won’t hesitate to defend myself if it comes to it.” He paused for a moment. “And if this is honest help.. Thank you..” Indigo looked down at the blossomed flower, he could still feel the lingering magic Ami used to heal. “My name is Indigo.” He was still looking at the flower, but was smiling.

The voice startled him up straight, hissing at the pain that followed moments after. Eye quickly locking in on the... person? The person in front of them looked too mythical to even be a human.  “Who... are you?” Giving a weak glare Indigo slowly straightened himself out, clutching his side in a vain attempt to cull the pain. He was more then prepared to either fight or run if it came to it, despite his body’s protest at the mere thought. They seemed generally concerned about his current state but it could be an act, it wouldn’t have been the first time someone played that card.

Indigo gave the demon an apprehensive look, his lips thinning into a straight line. Did the demon just invite himself to be his ‘companion’? Feeling agitated his tail started flickering and ears fell back slightly, this wasn’t going to do at all. How in the world is he suppose to get out of this? Leaning on one side, resting a hand at his hip, he let out a low sigh in slight annoyance from the situation.
“I- look, I didn’t know if this rumour was true or not when I came across it. when I saw you earlier, fitting the description curiosity got the better of me.” Taking a deep breathe, he continued. “How does ‘a ruthless demon that shows no remorse’ , ‘a terrifying shadow that stalks you’ sound?” Indigo had to admit, he was curious about these rumours now that he was in front of said demon.  A dangerous thought, he really should be thinking about a way out of this.
Indigo peaks at this so-called demon he's been hearing in rumors from across the road, hoping he wasn't being too obvious in his staring.. but let's face it, he knew he was being obvious. Curiosity is going to kill this cat at some point.
Pallas could basically feel the stare burning holes into his back. Was he wearing something strange again? Did a bird mark him or what was it? Usually, the ones who know about his true nature are way stealthier while tracking him down. And this Vastayan… well he was just way too obvious.
“Did something catch your attention, Sweetheart?” Pallas glanced over his shoulder.

Breathing in softly, Indigo kept his stance up but stared at the man with a slight scowl. “I did talk, it’s completely up to you to believe me or not.” He didn’t want to fight, not when his equipment was still at the inn, this was supposed to be a restock before he headed out again but when he saw the demon that filled the description of the rumours he heard...er eavesdropped on, weeks ago he couldn’t help himself and find out.
Clearly a mistake at this point. Indigo pushed back, making space between the two and straightening himself out.

Indigo suppressed a growl at the sudden intrusion of his personal space before mentally kicking himself, he didn’t want to start anything with the man now that he found out the truth of the rumours. He could hear the soft, worrying  ‘quack’ from his dear friend.
“If you’re worried about me ratting you out, you shouldn’t. I’m not the person... or well people you should feel anger towards.” With his ears low and ever slightly leaning his head to the side in a show of submission to make clear of his words.

No way around it, either the stranger was going to think he was crazy or had some weird suicidal tendencies. Either worked in certain situations under some circumstances.
"I just heard some flying rumors about you some time back, didn't rememeber till I saw you today and I guess... I was wondering if they were true or not." Deep breathe Indigo. Just a curious question. "Are you a demon?"
