Dear Fellow Outlaw Queen Shippers…..
Not everything is an insult to Outlaw Queen unless you insist on looking at everything through those glasses. They have not ruined Regina Mills character by having her move on from her soulmate’s death in a healthy manner by embracing her friends and family and not being obsessed with bringing someone back from the dead for 20 years.
As for last night’s show: when she tells Ivy that she’s going to give her what she always wanted - someone who can believe she can change -that doesn’t mean Regina thinks she never got that, it’s the exact opposite - she got that in spades. Henry being first, then Emma, Snow and Robin - then the rest of the town. That’s what is prompting her to do the same for Ivy, because she always saw a bit of herself in Ivy and wanted to pay it forward. It’s called character growth - if you are a fan of Regina Mills, that’s a good thing.
When Facilier gives her the magic to save Henry, she reacts the way she does because she’s been desparate to save Henry since Ivy woke her up and this is her first lead. She thought Facilier was up to no good, but he really was trying to help her. Why would she not be grateful??? She’s not reacting that way because no one else has ever helped her before, she’s reacting that way because she doesn’t want her son to die and now she might be able to save him.
If you take off the shipper glasses once in awhile, this can be a good show.
