Qibli is literally just the most generic Gary Sue and it’s so obnoxious. Like can he not be allowed one character flaw? ONE? At least Fireheart did wrong things and was called out for it. Qibli never does anything wrong, and the closest he gets to doing something wrong he’s never called out for it. He’s just Tui’s perfect little boy who is perfect in every way.

(All of this made sense when I found out Tui based him on one of her sons)

Weird place to put my thought so I hope you don’t mind, but that Anons criticism is misplaced. Regardless of educational background when it comes to art there is little objective anything. Yes there is objective skill and no skill which can be further broken down into terms and rubrics but Aegean’s Art is fine. Repetition doesn’t mean poor quality. She wouldn't have such a large following if that were true. (Also many artists are repetitive in there work, it’s a stylistic choice) I think if you enjoy Aegeans art and wish to emulate it your own work that’s fine. Also coming to you to complain about how ugly her style is while not providing examples of how, is petty. (Not an Aegeans defender, just had thoughts)

That Anon didn't seem like they wanted to give actual criticism but instead bash Aegean and you for thinking her art looks neat.

yeah idk why i’ve had several people in my ask box criticize aegean’s style, i agree she wouldn’t be so popular if her art wasn’t good

How can you like Aeagean's style? As a professional artist who actually GRADUATED from one of the USA's best art schools (in my-sort-of-objective opinion) it's absolutely terrible. Like one of the other anon's said, please for the love of god DEVELOP YOUR OWN ORIGINAL STYLE. Especially with the drama Aegean is involved in.

I just think it looks neat, dont got anything specific. its really easy to draw different angles. I am always adding and changing things in my style, so. its developing lol
