Pure Mathematics with minors in astronomy, German, and political science from RHIT. UTC-5, American Midwest. Vaguely math/STEM/academia/study oriented blog. His face when I hold his favorite rattle mousie out of reach: shocked, appalled, preparing to call his lawyer!

No, parents of the kid I tutor, I swear I didn't start telling your son about graph theory unprompted! He was the one who insisted on completing his multiple-choice matching question without crossing the lines over each other.

btw like 2 months ago i saw an "autonomous vehicle" for the first time. i was driving on 70 West toward Columbus, Ohio but I MUST stress that I was out in the country.
i saw the car up ahead and i was like what is that enormous thing on the roof of the car? it looks like a space ship.
it was going under the speed limit (by 10 mph ugh) so i got into the left lane to pass and as i pulled up i saw a thing on the back that said "ATTENTION: AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE" and i was like oh there is NO way this thing is just cruising through Ohio??
as I passed I looked over and sure enough there was no driver AND the passenger appeared to be asleep in the passenger seat.
i felt cuckoo bananas.
why don't we have trains TToTT
