I always liked the anime illustrations in the original NES Zelda manual, and it saddened me to find out these weren’t actually part of a real animated promotion for the game. So I decided to take those illustrations and re-create them as if they were!

I'm trying to collect and compile a list of transfeminine works and reviews or discussions of said works. I've found there to be very little discussion or consensus around these works, and very little attention on them overall. I want to do what I can to change that. Please if you would on the notes of this post or in my inbox, mention any transfeminist literature you've heard of and what you've heard about it. if you've read it, please give me your thoughts on the work as well, but don't be ashamed if you haven't been able to read something or finish it, I'd rather have some information than none at all. like sure they are putting tariffs on the entire world, including their allies, including the extremely pivotal and under threat tsmc which powers their military hardware. which is batshit foreign policy even for an isolationist leader. but they also aren't paying their own military properly to put down the rebelling citizenry, which is batshit internal affairs for a dictator (see: mobilising national guard to LA for 29 days to avoid paying higher wages, accommodation costs, etc.)

i always thought that there was some "focus on the culture war issues to distract people and justify our actions, while we carry out our own agenda that is distinct" playbook he was going for. but his actions are baffling under that lens too

mr trump has clearly not watched cpg grey's rules for rulers. if there is one priority in being a dictator, it's "pay the military". if you don't control a military, you have no state and no way to exert your rule

the military fucking sucks as an institution, obviously. but it serves a very important purpose for the state. it is bluntly self destructive not to pay it especially when troop moralle is extremely low

fascism is an inherently self destructive ideology but this is like, not even self destructing after the pyramid eats itself. this isn't a rotten foundation to the structure of power. this is removing the foundation yourself, because the structure looks like it's sitting there just fine on its own
