        ❝ mmm. no, i don’t need to create reports to cyberlife anymore. so i can easily switch on my personal playlist whenever i go idle or sleep mode. ❞ but the other’s disbelief is well-founded. after all, even synthetic bands such as here4u were sometimes heavily criticized as not being able to ‘ mirror ’ basic human emotion. but that has all changed, giving a soft clear of his throat. the investigative android still utilized his own vocal output, which wasn’t actually that horrendous to listen to even if slightly out of tune ( —-and no one had constructed him specifically for a musical prowess, so they all start at square one—- ) a curve upon stagnant lips. ❝ oh-oh-oh, i’ve been wishin’ for you. oh, oooh—— been tryin’ to do what lovers do—- ❞ hank hadn’t been a big fan of that one. but he had found it rather catchy and classic.

    ❝................❞ ---fucking seriously!? Utterly stunned & just bewildered by Connor actually singing !?. Every moment is either one that grates on his nerves or just bedazzles him with literally unexpected moments. Though the obvious flatness to the tune has his breath rumble up into a burst of snorts & laughter that had to be stifled by the back of his knuckles. ❝What the hell --- did you just try to sing-- do you even understand what you’re singing ---❞ even with the obvious development & cycle of changes of the androids, slowly forming their own mental & emotional psyche. But would Connor truly understand the context of what he’s singing---

        ❝ is that such a surprise—-? ❞ though, the android regrettably hadn’t tried to actively listen to music until he’d learned the lieutenant’s tastes—-. audio sensory in humans is quite strong ; or an outlet for creative stimuli specialized for humans—- curiously enough it seemed to also display similar effects on sentient androids. even going so far as to prove their ability to create and ‘ display ’ emotion through it. ❝ daft punk’s beyond is a good example of my current favorite—-! ❞

   ❝Hell yeah, ‘cause for all I know it’s nothing but gears you hear running in your ears,❞ not hesitant to pick on the fact his ‘partner’ is an android made up of synthetic materials & metal. A brow to further arch when Connor even managed to recommend a song title ---. ❝-- wait you weren’t just pulling my leg then? You even have favorite artists? Plus, it means you just don’t stand around idle outside of missions?❞

       ❝--- was that suppose to make me laugh?❞ wow, is the android trying to develop a sense of humor? Though the officer is maximizing his ability to suppress the nudge of amusement ghosting the corners of his mouth. ❝--- do you even listen to music?❞

  ❝Right --- easy to tell with that expression of yours,❞ always one to make quite the extra comments in regards to whatever feature that’s been simulated upon Connor’s design. Brows raised in disbelief that the android truly can adopt such mannerisms in a natural order, considering he always viewed them as a single-trick pony.Seems like the joke is on him with the constant ‘emotional development’ they’re suddenly capable of nurturing. Still quite the tough nail of thought to drive into this cop’s brain. 

   But that comment didn’t go unnoticed, evident with how expression wrinkled into a frown & tension gritted along his teeth as he glared at his newly assigned partner ( just how the fuck did this happen again!? ). ❝Yeah, took you forever to pour that coffee for me,❞ the one to turn it around despite how it had been how denied the cup after Connor had dutifully prepared it. Which again, brings up the question as to whose bright idea was it to pair them up!? Unfortunately, there was no method to reverse the arrangements plus the moment the brunet relayed the information, his demeanor adapted to a serious note. 

  ❝Pfftt, yeah -- yeah. But you’re paying for coffee, plus bagels.❞
