I don't want to give him the privilege of being the reason I detest men. Yet he is another addition in a long string of men who've disappointed me.
I find myself unable to trust men, even for a single moment now. Especially when it comes to the things I hold dear to me.
I wish I could un-feel whatever I am feeling.

Pacifiers will tell you to keep hoping for times to change. Humans aren't wired to dwell in abyss forever.. it will break them.
I was one of those pacifiers too. In turbulent, chaotic times (unfortunately too frequent) when everything was shrouded in misery, I would remind myself to nurture hope. Things won't be the same always, will they? This is what has been taught to us.
Until..
"For some people, time will never change", a friend once told me and it felt like a slap on my face.
I did not answer them. I could not.
i just think that the double standard with how everyone (and i'm not just talking ab the west btw) has treated the ukraine invasion vs issues literally anywhere else is insane. and no i'm not just talking about the straight up racist journalists (although that was also . whew ! shocked but not surprised) but rather how it seems that this time around, everyone seems to understand that you can't 'separate business / art from politics'. remember when a muslim soccer player spoke up against the atrocities that the chinese government perpetuates against the uyghur muslims and then arsenal terminated his contract because they are 'apolitical as an organization'? and yet manchester united players standing up for ukraine have been applauded for it. remember when iceland held up the palestine flag during eurovision as a show of solidarity and they were fined 5000 euros for it? and yet russia is banned from this year's contest.
and i know white people are going to misunderstand this on purpose, so i'm just stating this upfront: i completely support ukraine, and i think it's important that russia is shown, on a world platform, that they cannot get away with the invasion of a sovereign state. but the fact that suddenly, mixing politics with sport, business and art has become the new normal and socially acceptable because it's europe and the west and not filthy violent brown people is just too ironic for me to not point out. and btw if anyone starts talking about the 'oppression olympics' or wtv to discredit the very real differences between the treatment of white & brown people on a global level and the dehumanization of asians i will smash your head into a brick wall.

i don't know what I'm supposed to do
haunted by the ghost of you
so fond of characters who haunt their stories, who exist without actually existing at all. when a character is long gone, but persists in the actions and words of all the characters they have left behind. when everything to come unfolds because of them. when they are both dead and the beating heart at the very center of the narrative... that’s the stuff 💗__💗

THE WORLD'S LARGEST DEMOCRACY WANTS TO STOP MUSLIM GIRLS FROM STUDYING
In the last week, three government colleges in the state of Karnataka refused entry to muslim girls because they were wearing hijabs.
Karnataka is ruled by the BJP, just a fyi
The girls were allowed to enter the premises yesterday BUT were seated in a separate room. OUTRIGHT DISCRIMINATION.
In response the whole incident, hindu students showed up wearing saffron shawls and protesting against the muslim girls' right to wear hijab.

Imagine turning against your own friends and classmates, the people you studied, played and legit grew up with. Sickening and Disgusting.

I'll leave this here, because we recently observed the Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Someone encapsulated my feelings for My Ajusshi and I feel so happy now.
deeply disturbed by that one specific feeling after you’ve seen a really good movie (maybe it’s not “good” but you get the point). it’s just like im way too full of love and thoughts and yet im also gapingly empty and hyperaware of my place in existence at the same time, and im pretty sure i’ve unlocked a secret of the universe that i couldn’t explain to anybody else if i tried. and yeah i will forget what it is by tomorrow but from now on, anything that reminds me of that one movie and the way it left me changed inside will always just have this unplaceable emotion attached to it. weird
