I love pillows, it's the simplest way of updating any space. We have a few favorites from the saddle-bag inspired Nomad Pillow with its geometric pattern, warm colors perfect for Fall and yarn tassels to the Ayo Sun Circle Pillow. Look #1

More of a daytime, wear anytime kind of look.

Steps:

Prime eyelids with Urban Decay Anti-Aging Eyeshadow Primer Potion.

Apply Chaser all over eyelid.

Apply Sauced to the crease as a transitional shade, building it up gradually.

Blend blend blend.

Apply Low Blow to the crease to intensify the area and give it dimension and blend out the edges.

Apply Chaser to the eyelid again to make it pop.

Apply Low Blow to the outer third of the eyelid adding shadow and dimension, blend all the edges.

Apply Ounce to highlight the brow bone.

Line your lower waterline with UD 24/7 Glide -on Eye Pencil in Torch and drag it to the lower lashline. Blend the lower lash line.

Apply Mascara or False Lashes.

Apply Urban Decay Naked Heat limited edition Vice Lipstick in Fuel (warm peachy nude cream), Heat (metallized burnt red-gold) or Scorched (metallized copper).

Look #2

A little more dramatic.

Steps:

Prime eyelids with Urban Decay Anti-Aging Eyeshadow Primer Potion.

Use stickies for a more precise and sharp edge.

Apply Sauced as a transition shade to the crease.

Apply Chaser to the inner corners of the eye.

Apply Lumbre next to Chaser.

Apply Scorched to the center to the eye.

Apply En Fuego next to Scorched on the outer eye.

Apply Ashes to the outer corner of the eye.

Remove stickies | post it.

Drag Ashes to the lower lash line to make the eyes look extra smoky.

Apply En Fuego to lower lash line.

Using Inglot Eyeliner Gel apply wing to both eyes, making it intense.

Take Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil In Alkaline and line your lower water line.

Apply Ounce to highlight the brow bone.

Apply Mascara or False Lashes.

Apply Urban Decay Naked Heat limited edition Vice Lipstick in Fuel (warm peachy nude cream), Heat (metallized burnt red-gold) or Scorched (metallized copper).

Look #3

Halo eyes.

Steps:

Prime eyelids.Prime eyelids with Urban Decay Anti-Aging Eyeshadow Primer Potion.

Apply Ounce to highlight brow bone.

Apply He Devil to crease as a transition shade.

Apply Low Blow to crease and blend well.

Apply En Fuego to outer corner and inner corner of the eye to create a halo effect.

Use Low Blow to blend the En Fuego lines into the crease.

Apply Ashes to deepen outer and inner corners of the eye and the halo look.

Spritz your brush with Urban Decay de-slick spray to make the pigment more intense and a little more shimmery to make the Halo color stand out.

For the halo color apply Ember to the middle of the eyelid.

Go back with the crease and inner and outer corner colors to make sure everything is pigmented and intense enough.

Make sure all the colors are nice and blended well.

Take Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil in Alkaline and apply it to lower water line.

Take Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil in Torch and apply to lower lash line and smudge it.

Apply Mascara or False Lashes.

Apply Urban Decay Naked Heat limited edition Vice Lipstick in Fuel (warm peachy nude cream), Heat (metallized burnt red-gold) or Scorched (metallized copper).

The Most Flattering Swimsuit Style To Get This Summer

Ahh summer, sun, fun and of course swimsuits. We all want to look super chic in our bathing suits and you know what style flatters everyone? The One Piece!  No tankinis here, those have dropped out in popularity. The one piece is THE style of the year!

It feels like forever that we've been an approved family for adoption, since November 2016, and I get so excited just picturing us at the pool, playing with baby(ies)!

A "No Makeup" Makeup Look

I wanted to bring you a super easy "No Makeup" Makeup look, perfect for everyday and to encourage you to change things a bit. Give your eyeliner and cat eye a well deserved break, mix it up and try a new look.  Keep it fresh now that temperatures are starting to heat up!

We bring you, once again, the lovely Teni Panosian.  This "No Makeup" Makeup look is one of the prettiest ones out there. You can subscribe to her youtube channel here.

Steps:

Spot treat and help heal any blemishes with Murad's Age Spot & Pigment Lightening Serum.  You may also apply to your entire face for an allover glow. Give it enough time to sink in and replenish your skin.

Apply Primer: Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer and allow it to dry.

Correct any problem areas, like under eye and corner darkness or breakouts with NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Ginger. It's applied first to keep the whole look as natural and light as possible and you end up using less product.

Blend out the concealer with Urban Decay's 'Pro" Large Eyeshadow Brush (you may use it as a concealer brush).

Apply your base, anything lightweight and sheer with tint, bb cream or cc cream in its name:

For Normal Dry you may use NARS x Charlotte Gainsbourg Hydrating Glow Tint in Medium

For Oilier skin types you may use:

Cover FX Custom Cover Drops mixed in with Cover FX Custom Blotting Drops to reduce the look of shine and excess oil. The Custom Cover Drops allow you to transform all of your favorite liquid beauty products into your ideal foundation or tinted moisturizer. With this breakthrough formula you can customize both your level of coverage and desired finish. What you choose to mix Custom Cover Drops with will determine your finish. For a radiant finish, add to products like oils, serums, or creams. For a matte finish, mix with a mattifying primer or lightweight lotion. The possibilities are endless! Then, simply adjust your coverage by the number of drops you add. 1 Drop = Sheer Coverage 2 Drops = Medium Coverage 3 Drops = Full Coverage 4 Drops = Extra Full Coverage. You may use the Custom Blotting Drops with any tinted moisturizer or foundation.

NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tint. With SPF 30 and a Matte finish it offers a bit more coverage than the Hydrating Glow Tint.

Hourglass Illusion Hyaluronic Skin Tint. It offers a remarkable finish and good coverage for a skin tint.

Blend out and buff your tinted moisturizer into your skin with Urban Decay's Optical Blurring brush. Since it goes over the areas with concealer it will make the whole look more natural.

Warm up your face a bit with Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. It's matte and pretty subtle.

Apply your bronzer lightly with Urban Decay's 'Pro' Large Powder brush. Apply to cheekbones, temples, forehead and jaw line.

Let's bring a little more life to your face with LORAC 'Color Source' Buildable Blush in Spectra. It's a silky smooth matte.

Apply your blush and keep it pretty subtle with Charlotte Tilbury's Blusher brush. Apply to the apples of your cheek and a bit on your cheek bones.

Apply a bit of highlighter for glowing skin. Dab on the cream formula Rainforest of the Sea Tarte Twinkle Stick highlighter in Spotlight. Apply top of cheekbones, on brow bone and blend it with your fingers.

Add a bit of luminosity or set your makeup depending on your skin type. 

For Normal to Dry skin use Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist.

For Oily skin use Urban Decay's De-Slick Oil Control Setting spray

For the eyes, tightline, line the inner rim of your lash line, with Jouer Slim Creme Eyeliner in Matte Brown. This defines and darkens your lash line.

Dab with your finger some of the highlighter, Rainforest of the Sea Tarte Twinkle Stick highlighter in Spotlight, on the center of your lids and inner eye corner.

Apply Eyeko 'Fat Brush' Mascara for a feathery look as opposed to voluminous piecy and long.

Set your brows and make them appear a bit fuller with Maybelline's Brow Precise Fiber Volumizer in Auburn. This particular color is slightly lighter so it will soften the look.

Apply Maybelline's Lip Studio Color Jolt lip color in Stripped Down.  I am loving this color right now. It's the perfect blush nude and ideal for everyday.

Apply Maybelline's Baby Lips Color Balm Crayon in Toasted Taupe on the center of the lips to give it an extra glossy finish and lighten it up just a bit.

Voilá! C'est Magnifique! You are ready to conquer your day!

Rock The Prettiest Rose Gold Eye Look

Hello Spring!

Long time no chat darlings! 

I've had mono for the past 4 months and it has not been fun but it seems it might be almost over so yeayyyy!

Spring is in the air with bluebonnets everywhere and one color that is really on trend? PINK!

I'm obsessed lately with everything Blush, Rose Gold and in between and finally picked up the Urban Decay Naked 3 eyeshadow palette.  I actually had a Sephora gift card from my inlaws and I had been saving it for an eyeshadow palette, just had not decided on which one yet.  I like to use my gift cards on special items I want instead of need.  It makes it more memorable to me.  My father in law passed away in February so even though I will remember him for the times we shared, I can always think of him when I use this.

This lovely Rose Gold eye look has been created by Kathleen Lights, subscribe to her youtube channel here.  She used the beautiful Urban Decay's Naked 3 palette.  If you haven't picked it up yet I suggest you do!  It is a gorgeous array of light to dark rose gold shadows along with bronze and gold complementary shades.  Just so pretty!

Steps:

Prime eyelids.

Apply Limit onto crease.

Apply Trick onto the eyelid. Spray your brush with some Mac Fix+ or water for a more intense shimmery look.

Apply Nooner onto your outer V, from the outer corner of the lid and bring it onto the crease.

Apply Factory on your lower lash line.

Apply Nooner on your lower lash line as well.

Apply Strange to your inner corner and brow bone as a highlight.

Apply Trick onto inner corner of bottom lash line to brighten it up even more.

Finish with mascara on upper and lower lashes.

Complete the look by defining your brows.

Apply your favorite foundation and concealer.

Apply Physicians Formula Bronze Booster to bronze your face and warm it up a bit.

Apply Maybelline's Color Sensational lipstick in Blushing Beige.  You can also use Maybelline's Baby Lips in Toasted Taupe.

Apply Maybelline's Color Sensational lipstick in Faint for Fuschia or Maybelline's Baby Lips in Pink Smooch for more of a pinky nude.

Finish the look with some gorgeous e.l.f. Cosmetics Baked Hightlighter in Pink Diamonds. Apply to your cheekbones, bridge of nose and cupid's bow.

Don't know what to give as a gift?  Home Decor gifts are always welcomed and while you are at it, you might as well get something for your place!  It's always great to spruce up your casa for the holidays and welcome guests!  If we were in Puerto Rico, we would be welcoming parrandas and lots of visits!  What are parrandas you ask?  It's when you meet up with some of your friends at 2am to go other friends homes.  Once you arrive to the 1st home, you stand at the front of the house and yell "Asalto" and start singing and I mean singing with guitars and other instruments making tons of noise.  You wake them up, they serve you food, you mingle a bit and take them with you to the next friends house!  This could go on till 6am!  I remember one summer when I was little I stayed at my tío Ismael's house and we went on my first parranda.  It was so much fun! Thank you tío Ismael for the memories.

My husband and I love to cook and really enjoy sharing this time together and making some yuminess from here.  Some of our favorite recipes are: Chicken Carbonara Casserole with lots of bacon!
