Valencia, increíble pero cierta. El audio corresponde a una campaña turística. Las imágenes... desgraciadamente, a lo que nos han acostumbrado a ver como normal.

THE #INTIFALLA
The #intifalla is a protest against all the problems in our Politics: corruption, repression, the influence of banks in political decisions, the violation of the right to have a house...
The Fallas are a popular evidence of criticism against social, political and economical facts. This tradition was born as a celebration of the Spring, a renewal through the cathartis of fire.
While for years, the party has been loosing its original sense becoming a demonstration of economic power of the middle and upper class and a degeneration of the city, this year you have the chance to assist to the back of the origins: the critics of the people in order to live in a better place, which appreciates the culture and tradition.
Join the #Intifalla and help us to renew our city, and our world. Let's take part of the 99%.

Welcome to Valencia
Welcome,
Maybe you have come to Valencia these days in the search of sun, party (fiesta) and popular traditions. You are welcome to our home and we hope you enjoy your time here.
We want in this blog advertise tourists in order to better explain our culture and the social, economic and political moment.
As you probably know, Spain is one of the European countries more affected by the international crisis since the economy of the country has been based in real estate, construction and tourism-oriented services. More concretely, in Valencia, the Government has focused for years in non-stop building and in attracting luxurious tourism. In order to do this, leisure complexes have been built destructing the coast and the mountains and expensive construction and events has been performed with public funds and without the approval of the citizens like the theme parks, the F1 street circuit or the America's Cup, between others. Other constructions, like the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències have supposed a tremendous spending of public funds. Remarkably, the Government have not accepted to exhibit the public accounts until the moment and, so, we can't know the amount of expenses and benefits of these concepts.
Meanwhile, several politicians have been involved in a number of cases of corruption related to these events and buildings, included the President of the Generalitat Valenciana. Here, the Justice seem to be really blind, and also deaf, yet there are many proofs of bribery and deviation of public funds and they remain unpunished.
While our money goes to paying all these unnecessary stuff, Public Education, Health and Social welfare are being reduced day by day. For years, children of several public schools have been sdudying in bunkhouses, there are neighborhoods without school, a good medical assistance is sinking due to the lack of funds, dependent people dye spending public help for their care, researchers are fired out of public research centers...
In these context, which comes from years ago, many Valencian people has decided not to shut up any more. We are denouncing this terrible and unbearable situation.
Valencian Government justifies all their decisions and actions based on the electoral majority. But what they don't say is that this elecotral majority is only representing a 35% of the population. Approximately 30% of the citizens don't vote because of the rejection of the electoral law, their distrust about politics or other reasons (in the last elections, many of the emigrated Valencians couldn't vote by bureaucratic difficulties). With the support of a third of the population, the Valencian Government acts unilaterally, without any transparency or real democracy.
Because of all these reasons, maybe these days in Valencia you will see people demonstrating, occupying the streets, asking for Justice and Democracy. They are the Valencian Spring (Primavera Valenciana), claiming for a Democracy for the 99%.
Please join us in the streets and help us to live in a better place, because this corrupt politicians don't represent us.
