Miles would 100% need to be the one who makes a move first bc i feel like that would be the ultimate show of his character development! Showing his attunement to his emotions, Overcoming his fears of perfection and failure, being the one who BRINGS THE TURNABOUT ON PHOENIX why would you take this from him.

Also i also feel like this would aid in phoenix’s development, where his development on love from Dahlia and love for his friends and family being brought to a climax where someone finally chased him in the same way he’s done for others and its someone he’s admired from the beginning?

again its most likely gonna be edgeworth assuming they are already in a relationship and phoenix’s weird dance with being honest about his emotions until one day they are just like “Wait hang on. yeah that makes sense”

[DR. STONE MANGA SPOILERS]

Get prepared for an overanalysis 🗣

So I was reading the Terraforming extra chapter after the end of the manga and there was a panel that really struck me towards the end:

This scene happens after Senku & friends crashed into the ocean and logically everyone on land thinks they are dead, except from Xeno, who sends Stanley to search for them.

Xeno's original goal was to build his own utopia where his science and advances weren't stopped by politics/economical interests nor higher-ups. He was against reviving all the statues, but Senku accomplished that goal.

These panels show that even if Xeno is one of the most capable scientists in the world, who built the rocket engine practically alone and monitored the entire space expedition, he may as well be returning to the place he was before the petrification.

Perhaps im reading too much into two images, but I think that without Senku there to excercise his diligence power (as Kingdom of Science's main leader, along with the other presumably dead wise generals) the external interests that scarred Xeno so much would once again turn him into his puppet, this embodied by the same time machine research project there, because how many resurrected people would actually abide to the new way of living of the new stone world without the main people building it present.

Not only his companions seem more fed up with him than actually worried, Xeno's annoyance is heavy in these panels, and that's something I really love about Dr. STONE, its visual narrative palpable through the character's eyes.

And even more, at the end of the chapter when Senku states they will build the future's science, Xeno mentions his Helium-3 project. We know that the rejection of said proyect was one of the main causes for him to grow his resentment towards the old world structures and later on become a dictator, so added to the passion of using his science to make humanity advance, that specific comment is backed by his trauma towards the possibility of losing his agency.

i know the lost turnabout is a first case that's just meant to re-introduce players to the mechanics of the game but two things always struck me about it. one is that mia died from being struck on the head and barely even a year later phoenix potentially could've died the exact same way if that one witness guy (i'm not looking up his name) had struck him any harder so it creates this horrible "like mentor like student" situation only with. death. instead of mannerisms. and the second thing is that when stripped of his memories phoenix is proven to naturally be a person who suspects more than he trusts. like really at first he doesn't trust maggey at ALLLLL he's constantly giving her these suspicious looks and being like "how could you not have done it?? here's a bunch of evidence that proves you did it!!!" even when maggey insists over and over again that she didn't do it. and it always gets me thinking about how phoenix said at the end of 1-4 that if he had known larry was the one who stole his lunch money he would've been a prosecutor instead of a defense attorney. idk just!!! thoughts

People been saying serirei is only influential because of the "why does serizawa calls you babygirl" meme, but if we go in comparison with killugon, theres also ground there. In-series, Reigen gets a lot of development thanks to other characters, being the main two Mob and Serizawa. Even then, these two relationships are completely different since from the start Serizawa has a free-will instance with Reigen, oriented in his personal growth, instead of a co-dependent situation that didn't pushed him away from his status quo, as with Suzuki. From Reigen's side, there's this aceptance and aknowledgment to Serizawa since the first moment, even when he was a former terror*st. This bond does nothing but grow with time, showing in the care and affection they have for each other until the end of the series, and even in the spin-offs, so we can talk about influence.

Theres also that one anime's official art where they get married!
