Tonight, the Forgotten Knight RP crew returns to Ishgard on Balmung

Join us in our attempt to bring open world RP back to the Holy See starting at 9 Eastern and going until people damn well feel like it.

I’m opening THREE (3) slots for bust only painted edits, the base price being £25 GBP (roughly $30 USD via conversion) -  Larger work/more details+editing may incur an additional small fee, but it will be discussed beforehand. Payment through Paypal invoices only and I do not issue refunds. (Either half now and half after or full price upfront only) 

If you want a couple picture it’s an additional +£15 per character added to the shot (an additional +£5 if I have to take the screenshot myself per panel) If you’re interested in something else or a set please let me know and we can discuss details.

Example: One Character Bust (£25) / if I take the screenshot (+£5) / if you add a character (+£15) = total price Turn around time is 1-3 weeks depending on schedule, but I’ll be sure to keep you updated and let you know about any delays.

Please also have on hand any extra references that show ways your character differs from in-game, any added extras etc., plus a short list of general ‘aesthetics’ or things like pinterest boards/playlists that you think would help me convey your character correctly.

The Court of Thieves [LS - Balmung] Recruitment is Open!

“The laws of society are each a weight upon the poor. With each day, another dozen pounds is added to the shoulders of those who already carry so much, all for the benefit of the few and the rich. To become a thief is to disregard these laws, to shrug free the weights upon your back… but to become one of us is to cut others free, and rise together.”

Who Are We?

The Court of Thieves is a Linkshell community comprised of criminal roleplayers located on Balmung in the Crystal Data Center! The main goal of the Court of Thieves is to secure a place within the world as a sort of ‘Thieves’ Haven’ – with eyes carefully watching the ongoing conflict between the Alliance and the Empire. 

Stealing from the rich and giving to the poor, they have defended the refugees and indentured–left to rot within the city while the rich only grow richer–time and time again while seeking solutions that could ignite the fires within the people and stand with them as they rise up. 

Known famously for their bombing of three record offices in Ul’dah, their efforts wiped the debts out of dozens of indebted servants, freeing them from the Bloodsands and forced labor in one single move. No single person was apprehended for these bombings, but the custom coins left behind on the scene, with a single skull in a crown on it’s face were very telling of the true culprits.

Where Can You Find Us?

The Coin & Crown Pawn Shop - A seedy shop run by even shadier people, located in the Mists of La Noscea. Anything you want or need, sold at the right price in one easy stop. Items and relics and tools and tech, everything has a price–including the services of the Thieves holed up there. Above the shop is the Thieve’s Den, a hangout and resting area known by any within the Underground as a safe haven for the weary, the beds are open to any, and violence against another thief there is forbidden… unless you’re below on the last floor. There, an open bar remains with warm food and inviting drinks–as well as an arena in the middle to get those bar fights out of one’s system. A betting counter is available to those spectating, and breakable chairs are available to those participating in the ring.

The Mirage - A massive Black Market venue in the deep deserts of Thavnair, difficult to reach unless one has an invitation, it houses the most notorious and coveted of goods–well worth the risk of one’s life to get there. Home to an immensely powerful Daeva and his ever loyal Jackals, it is perhaps the most guarded and sanctified place within the Court of Thieves’ grasp. A VIP lounge overlooks the market for those who are friends of the King of Thieves himself, any form of coin or bartering is allowed though violence for the sake of violence will be put to rest swiftly. Those causing trouble within the Mirage will find themselves in the middle of the treacherous desert sands, alone and left to wander.

After further investigation into a series of mysterious murders, Valiant’s Trust found themselves face to face with a Mimic. After the group slayed the creature... it only lead to even more questions, and even less answers.

VT-RP is back in the New Year! After a nice break for our members over the festive period, we’re rearing to go with some all new plots and RP adventures!

Festival of Nhaama - Balmung Server Event

I made a carrd for it so it is easier for people to see the rules and everything. We will still be using the spreadsheet on the back end of course!

The Festival of Nhaama will be a traditional festival held in Azim Steppe. The games are Bokh, Horse Racing, and Archery. The celebration is meant as a means to bring all Xaela together without bloodshed to honor those who have fallen in combat years prior and warriors of the future to show honor and skill in hopes to avoid most conflicts until the day of ‘Eriin Gurvan Naadam’ where a new lead tribe is selected to rule over the Steppe.

Geisha Services Now Available! [Mateus]

 Ichihiko of Ichimitsu Okiya from Hingashi has moved as a free geisha to La Noscea and will be performing for ozashiki at Uranami Onsen on Mateus server! Services include tea ceremonies, performances, and banquets featuring in-game food and drink items! Your character could have heard from Uranami Onsen’s presence of geisha, picking up word across Limsa Lominsa and Kugane of practicing Hingan geisha in the Mist!

Hello everyone! Kupo-mod here. For those on @mooglemodels I apologise for the interruption to your image browsing and on @mooglemeet I apologise for nothing. >:)

This has been a question that’s popped up a couple of times over the years so, to try and condense it into a sort of master-post, this is how to maximise your chances of content being seen by the blogs with tumblr’s janky tagging and @ system. This applies mostly to my blogs, but serves as a handy how-to for tumblr at large.

NOTE — Even with these explanations, there’s still a chance your content won’t be seen. Yeah, it sucks, but that’s just tumblr. I’ve had posts pop up in the moogle tags/search that I can’t see but other people can see, even though my main blog ( because these are both sideblogs! ) hasn’t been blocked. That’s easily proven in the fact I can reblog the postsm, not to mention my main blog is relatively unknown in the community so the likelihood of being blocked is minimal afdkgjhfdg. — anyway, onto the bulk of this post!

Tagging: a huge, HUGE thing a lot of people don’t know about tumblr’s tagging system is that when you go to tag a post only the first five tags will appear in tumblr’s tag results. The rest are apparently seen as applicable tags for your blog ( why? I have no idea! ), so they won’t appear. So, for example, if you want your post to be seen in the tag tumblr.com/tagged/mooglemodels, you HAVE to make sure #mooglemodels is somewhere in the first five tags. I’ll give an example:

So #final fantasy xiv, #balmung, #mateus, #mooglemodels and #ffxivscreenshots will appear, but the last two won’t. However, this is ONLY applicable for tags.

AMENDMENT: Please note that tagging only works if you’re the posts creator. Tumblr will not record reblogs in its tagged page. I believe the same applies for the search function too, though that’s currently unverified. Basically if you’re not the posts creator but you want me to see your content, please @ the blog or IM me. 

The search function, which you can see for @mooglemodels by clicking here, should, at least theoretically, catch everything after the first five tags — but it doesn’t always work. Search is supposed to display everything that mentions a particular word, phrase, etc… but it’s a hit or miss if that actually happens. There’s no secret to being displayed in search other than using the phrases mooglemodels or mooglemeet, which using the tag and @ method should hopefully cover anyway.

The @ function should put your post in my activity feed, which is the first place I generally look when I check the blog(s) every day. Though this is generally reliable, there have been some cases when it has not. Again, there’s no secret to tagging the blog other than making sure you’re following it ( because sometimes the @ function bugs out if you’re not, I’ve had first hand experience with it ) and praying to whatever entity controls this site that it’s seen.

Of note: even if you tag/@ the blog, you post will not be seen for a few days. Both @mooglemeet and @mooglemodels run on a queue system to be courteous to the dash, so your post will simply end up at the back of the line. The ONLY exception is for @mooglemeet with time-sensitive events; they will be pushed to the front of the queue so their advertisement is seen in time.

Lastly, when in doubt, IM me! It’s the most reliable system and I’m always happy to answer questions. I’ll occasionally reblog this post whilst adding any pertinent info as I discover it should these situations change.

COR AUT MORS: A Garlean Discord Server

lit. “Heart or Death,” used figuratively to mean “(Your choice is between) The Heart (Moral Values, Duty, Loyalty) or Death (to no longer matter, to no longer be respected as person of integrity.)”

A pet project of mine come to life because I absolutely need more of those, COR AUT MORS is a Garlean RP Discord oriented toward building connections between Garlean and Garlean-adjacent characters. Regardless of a character’s standing with the Empire, we welcome anyone interested in forging connections for or with Garlean and Garlean-adjacent characters.

I’ve enlisted the help of @miyuki-mazaki and @arcianmartell to help with running it as well, they are very cool and very sweet! While the focus is on OOC connections-building for the moment, I won’t rule out the possibility of running some get-together sorts of events in the future!

We’ve established a few ground rules, which we hope will suffice to create an environment conducive to our goals with this Discord!

1. Exercise common courtesy. Discussion is fine, disagreement is fine, but blatant antagonism is not. If a conflict looks like it’s getting too heated or it’s making people uncomfortable, it’s easier for all parties to either drop the topic or take a break to cool off. Your freedoms end where others’ begin. 

2. Bigotry of any kind (racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, etc) will not be tolerated.

3. Practice proper RP etiquette. Don’t metagame, and remember that IC ≠ OOC. Follow house rules of any RP venues. Don’t force people into RP scenarios that they are not comfortable with. Above all, be willing to accept the in-character consequences for your character’s actions. 

4. This is a lore-compliant space. We won’t maim you for not knowing a tiny obscure detail about some aspect of the lore or another and we know how to suspend our disbelief. Just keep it sane, and everything’ll be fine!
