Game studios and fans babyfying game protagonists is so disappointing. Like, look me in the face and tell me that this man (created by CDPR themselves) is 23 years old instead of 28 (wrinkles and obvious graying of his temples are not enough, you think?).

And then fandom joins in, takes someone like this and decides he's 18 (and they get really angry when you point at his wrinkles and receding hairline and say he was made to look like a 30+ year old dude):

What I'm saying is that we need more game protagonists in their thirties, forties, fifties. We need games about mature people making friends and stupid mistakes, being badass and being dumb, finding love, changing their lives and the world around them. And we need fans and fandoms that embrace that.

Basically, we need more Disco Elysium.
