Ok but why did they call him wolffe (pronounced wolf) if they could have called him wolffe (pronounced wolfie)??? That shit would’ve been sm better. Commander Wolfie. Commander Wolfie, at your service, General. he’s still exactly as intimidating and still the sarcastic sometimes mean guy everyone knows. except that now shinies are like “haha the guy is name WOLFIE he can’t be that bad” and then they meet Wolffe and never say another bad word. tell me this wouldn’t be the funniest thing.

Modern AU Wolffe Headcanons

My mind has decided to hyperfixate on Wolffe in the Modern AU so here are some headcanons.

In this AU, Wolffe is a retired marine commander. He was the CO of battalion nicknamed the “Wolfpack”

I imagine that Wolffe would be a mechanic in a small-ish town . Specifically a town up north that’s surrounded by mountains and beautiful wildlife.

I have always headcanoned that Wolffe really loves nature and doesn’t like cities that much. They have too many noises so the small town he lives in is great.

He owns a black camaro and a 1970 Harley Davidson that he loves way too much

The old members of the Wolfpack definitely own motorcycles and have matching leather jackets that have the Wolfpack insignia on the back of it

A lot of people in the town find him very intimidating so he doesn’t get a lot of visitors except for Plo and other members of the Wolfpack

He doesn’t really mind though. He mostly keeps to himself. He does feel really bad when little kids get scared when they are around him because of his scar and glass eye.

Speaking of his glass eye, it’s white. He doesn’t know how he managed to get a white one instead one that actually matches his eye color. He thinks Sinker or Boost had something to do with it. He doesn’t have the energy to get it replaced though.

He lowkey likes the aesthetic though but he will never tell anyone that

As I said, everyone in the town is a little scared of him. They like him though - he is the best mechanic in the town after all.

Well, everyone is scared of him...except you

You moved into town after your great aunt passed away and left you all of her belongings which included her house (yeah, I know this may be a little cliche but whatever lol). You were her only relative that visited and wrote to her before she passed away so you got everything.

You thought why not? The mortgage was paid off and the house was in reasonable shape.

Unfortunately, your poor subaru broke down right when you got into town and you just happened to get some help by the local mechanic

Wolffe certainly intrigued you. He may have been intimidating but you certainly weren’t scared of him at all like the rest of the town.

He definitely gave off the “I am not here to make friends” vibe and you pretty much responded with “Bold of you to assume that I’m not already planning to become besties with you.”

Yes, this is a friends to lovers trope

Wolffe is just going have to deal with your daily visits

He eventually starts looking forward to them and gets mad worries when you don’t show up at your regular time.

summary: marc is apparently having a breakdown in the middle of egypt, the good thing is that you’re right there with him, the person he seems to hate the most in the whole world… or quite the opposite of that.

pairing: mostly marc spector x female!reader / slight steven grant x female!reader

warnings: angst, marc spector being a total jerk, bad language, some blood, wounds, alcohol consumption, slight smut (minors DNI), fluff at the end, soft!marc (at least as much as i could get out of him 💀)

Egypt was indeed as hot as they said, the warm wind rushed through the small town, kicking up the sand with it as the sun shone furiously overhead, always watching, attentive, almost mocking the people who were not used to it’s power, just as you were.

You were fully grateful to Steven, rather to his memory, when he had once told you that if you were ever to go to Egypt, you should pack purely light clothing, no wasting space on jackets or vests or even pants, nope. Now you understood exactly what he meant. God bless him.

As you closed the door to the small hotel room behind you, you sighed and restrained yourself from grunting in annoyance at the sight of the almost naked man, still lying on the floor beside the bed and holding an almost empty bottle of some alcholic drink that you assured was quite strong even for him, for when he took the last remaining drink, he let out a hiss, you could almost see his brow furrowing from the burning in his throat. It was definitely rum.

Blood ran between his fingers and along his hand to his wrist. You immediately noted also that the circular mirror in front of the bed was now broken. You knew he’d had some argument with Steven, obviously.

“Okay, Marc, what the hell are you doing?” You dared to asked, dropping your bag with some purchases you had brought from the small market across the street. You had even bought yourself a rather cute necklace with a small moon shaped crystal, two in fact, as you planned to give the other one to Steven, which he would probably love, you knew he would.

You hadn’t seen him for a couple of days already, since practically the fight back in England with that invisible monster, you had even helped him defeat it and then you had tried the same with Marc, he had rejected and dismissed your help completely, of course.

Marc didn’t even turn to look at you, he just stared straight ahead, into nothingness, ignoring you completely, once again, but still, you didn’t give up, you never would and he knew that too.
