She's also (at least I think so) neurodivergent and is afraid she comes off as "too much" so I wonder if she blames herself for putting strain on her parent's relationship?

Her not enough mentality, being seen as the glamorous State-sider by the fans, combined with her role as lead lyricist (which she's clearly excels at) makes me wonder if she was also labeled a gifted kid in school since we often see her get paired with school imagery particularly during Golden.

Nightreign Lore: Caligo

The Fissure in the Fog, Caligo, Miasma of Night — a prehistoric dragon who hid herself atop phantasmal mountains, veiled in fog. With her great, shadowy eyes framed in mist, she peers down upon the world, committing all she sees to memory. Her eyes are said to appear during great junctures in history, and the cataclysm of the Night drew her attention. She leapt from her peak with wings unfurled, emerging from isolation to witness firsthand what fortunes and curses the Night would rain upon the world. This dragon, whose coldness steals the warmth from life, would become a Nightlord.

greta was time's person of the year a few years ago. she was adored by all liberal world leaders and parties. and when she learnt about people's struggle under occupation and colonialism, she stood in solidarity with them . she now stands with palestine and armenia and kashmir and every oppressed person in the world. she could have been rich as fuck by simply remaining as a climate activist. yet she chose to do the right thing. i love her for her integrity.

yeah, they are really cosmic horror and i loved it. I think if they ever explain more about the Beast, it will probably be something new and inspired by H.P. Lovecraft mythos and not directly taking from it, but it does fit a little.

Something like the path of the Beast in the cthulhu mythos would be probably be caused by Shub-Nigurrath, as the abandoning humanity being something akin to become her children.

trench crusade new lore about the Path of the Beast and they are... amazing to be honest. Like, i didn't expect they would be this good, but they are.

They are a Hell align faction, but are not from hell, they predate adam and eve and probably the fall of the angels too, they are a Beast that prey on humanity and works as an antithesis of civilization.

Since times immemorial, the beast walks upon the land and will be here long after humanity is gone. It does feel like they are eldrich horror, like alien eldrich horrors, because the totens that keep the beast alive during the time of civilization and faith were brought from beyond the stars.

They fight in the same side as hell because they are an anti-god faction, also anti-humanity and anti-civilization too. And the best part of them? New members must go willingly, they call you, you see their idols and totens and you must willingly knelt before their altars, giving up being human and becoming a beast that feeds on humanity and this part, this is my favorite thing about them.

You have any ideia that how many people would knelt to the beast and give up being human in our world? The ones that accept the beast are the ones that cannot endure living in civilization, cannot endure the suffering of being human, the beast grows because a near millenia of war against hell is beyond many people can endure, in real life, we don't need hell being real to people to suffer so much that they would gladly gave up their humanity if the oblivion would spare them from the suffering, for god sake, my life is not bad and sometimes, when anxiety and disphoria hits me at the same time, it makes me wish i was not human, so i would not need to live in human society. I can't even imagine what goes in the head of people in really bad situations that are totally out of their control.

I think this is why this new lore drop hitted me so strong, this faction grow with the people that could not bear the pain of being human and live in a society that does not really care about their suffering, does not really care about them. The beast offers not eternal damnation like hell, not salvation like the church, but oblivion, to be as the same as an animal that lives with their instincts to guide them, to be free from suffering in a way that no human can do and to be honest, depending of the day and how my mental state is, something like that would not sound like a bad deal, because living in a civilization where people care more about money than they care about you can cause some real damage in your self worth as a human being.
