can characters post starters regarding the plot drops/murders? i'm assuming the drop is supposed to act like a police statement- so it'd be like the others in the town heard about it, right?

yes, love ! it was my best attempt at an official report--- the media has definitely covered it, so it is assumed that everyone in town knows what happened !

✱ — plot drop 01.

the mysterious assailant has attacked again. the police department of starlight valley has assured the press that they are working 24/7 on the case, and are following as many leads as they can find. right now, the police department will not be releasing much information on the killer, but they do believe it is connected with some sort of satanic ritual, or cult. the starlight valley police asks citizens to remember to lock all doors and windows, and avoid leaving their home after the nightfall. the police department’s spokesperson would like to remind everyone that if you have any information regarding the killer, to please contact the number 114 14, and your identity will remain completely anonymous.

in a gruesome attack in an abandoned gas station, the words ‘hell will rise’ have been smeared on the walls with the victim’s blood. not only that, but what seems to be a poem or scripture of some kind has been found, scribbled on the walls in latin. the victim’s body, a dark haired male, had been lying in the middle of the old gas station’s convenience store, with multiple stab wounds and rope burns around the ankles and wrists, though the victim was reportedly untied when police arrived. 

it has been reported that the victim is theodore wright ( @ofwright ), also known as kit, a twenty-one year old biochemistry major. while we are all saddened by the news, the police department has yet to release the body: due to the strange occurrences in the past few deaths in town, it is now protocol to hold a deceased person for twenty-one days before burying or cremating them. 

no arrests have been made.

im worried this rp isnt very active anymore :( i know its only been like a week but...

we currently have a few people on hiatus, love, and usually middle of the week things tend to wind down. of course, we as the admins can only do so much to keep the group active--- if you’re worried about it, roleplay ! plot with people, reply to starters, post new starters, etc. many people get more inspired to rp when they see other players on the dash !
