Ch-ch-ch-changes
So. In one more day, I will embark on a new journey. One that I have traveled on many of times, but it will be for something different. School. I will be going for cosmetology!!! I am beyond excited to dive right in. I feel like this is where I need to be, and where I want to go. I want a career that I would LOVE. And to make others feel good about themselves, will in turn make me feel good. I want a career that produces different situations for me everyday. I just know that the mundane office life isn't for me. Anyways. I cannot wait. And I've already made a new friend in my class :) Ya know what... It feels really good to have a new goal. To have something big to look forward to. I almost forgot what that felt like. I can see graduation day now....

I’m pretty sure I want to go to school to be a cosmetologist…but don’t want to think about the loans 😮 Also, its hard to realize that maybe what I went to school for in the first place, isn’t really what I want to do. Going back to school for something else would make me feel like I wasted that time and money. But damn, I would love to do hair 💇 Anyone have any advice?

How Unemployed Grads Can Stay Sane
Half of all college graduates are un- or under-employed in the U.S. The job market is bleak.
Getting a job interview is like going to a meeting of Fight Club with your competition.
Chances are, you’re un- or underemployed, like me, and looking for something full-time has been a sad, sad experience. If looking for a job, interviewing for jobs and the following rejection letters are wearing you thin, here are some tips to help you reclaim your sanity.
1. Network
Reach out to your school’s alumni and ask for job search advice or an informational interview. Even if the company isn’t hiring, it’s a good way to expand your network and have someone who can get your résumé around. Don’t be afraid to attend networking events in your area. You never know who you’ll meet. I attended a tweet-up last year, and I still chat with some of the people I met there. It was awkward, but it paid off with the connections I made.

I have baby fever real bad. But I still need a new job, insurance, and we wanna buy a house. A new job would solve all of this. I've put in tons of applications and haven't gotten any offers 😥😩😵 It's beyond frustrating. I'm in debt from school and still don't have a degree-related job to help pay those bills. UGH. I know the right job will come along when timing is right, but it's been almost a year since I finished school....would have thought I'd have one by now.
