I've never been through cancer, but I was told at 5 years of age I could die after 1 surgery. I'm officially almost 15 now, so I've tripled that life expectancy. my advice is just to try and stay positive. the more you think about the pain and the negatives the more shit you feel. try to find distractions. pets, hobbies, new TV show (I can actually recommend a few if you want), coloring pages, doodling, etc. I know it's hard but you're strong, even if you feel like shit.💛

I got a second opinion from an oncologist about my cancer and I’ve known this for a little while but I’m starting immunotherapy again and dialysis dor my kidneys I’ve well surpassed the prediction of how long I had to live and I’m taking every day as a blessing. I was wondering if everyone could just give me well wishes for treatment or recommend some people who are very understanding that I can be friends with during this time.

this is so true! it's also important to note that many of us who would love to protest are minors and have no one to go with. don't judge anyone without the full context!!!!!!

I’m just going to say this right here and right now. Don’t judge people who can’t get out there and physically protest. Some people don’t have the spoons to get out there or are in literal DANGER doing so. Spreading awareness and making posts online that provides support, resources and empathy IS enough. Judging people for how they’re reacting is dividing us further. That’s what they want. Don’t give it to them.
