I also like how much Suzaku is suffering too.

Euphemia is turned into a monster and gets to die before she wakes up to what she's done.

Suzaku and Lelouch are not allowed to die, no matter how much they beg. They would give that to others, but never each other. They will turn each other into the scum of the earth because they need the other to *live.* And they will both suffer because of it.

They're both miserable people at this point and its so so so fun. It's fun seeing just how many people Suzaku will allow to be slaughtered by Julius just because he... what? Wants to see Lelouch suffer? Wants to force him to keep living when all he wants is to repent for what he has become? To watch him pay for the blood of family on his hands with service to the Brittanian empire? The one that tortures him and breaks him and treats him like an object? Does all that sound familiar?

I don't care how short lived it was or if it was just for people who wanted to see Lelouch in Akito it is such a fucking fantastic expansion on both of their characters and their dynamic as a whole.

....(I'm supposed to be doing my homework right now....).....
