                                                    ‘  oh  !  oh,    okay.   great   !   that  immediately  makes  this  ten  times  better  than  it  was.   ’     still,    magnus  isn’t  a  total  idiot.    he’s  always  willing  to  help  those  in  need,     but  things  like  these  never  come  without  a  cost.     leans  forwards  /  head  tilts  /  single  brow  quirks  /  eyes  shift  in  discomfort,    though  still  he  proceeds.     ‘   look,     lady,     i’m  kinda  a  dumbass.     like,    a  real  dullard  ?     an  everyday  simpleton,    if  you  will.   —   you’re  gonna  have  to  spell  this  one  out  for  me.   ’  

❝ I don’t think I want to now. ❞    a voice cracked. This was getting uncomfortable even for her. This would’ve been a lot easier if you were just to say   ‘Oh, I am going to drink your blood now! Don’t worry about it!’   but instead this was entering territory even she didn’t want to overthink about.

Pretty cheesy for someone who knows how to work real magic other than just plain, simple illusions.

                                    ‘  uh  —   ’    shifts  almost  uncomfortably  as  other  makes  way  closer,     right  arm  coming  to  absentmindedly  rub  at  arm.   brow  quirks  /  peaks  at  other  from  long  lashes  that  fan  ’cross  cheekbones.     ‘  so  …  what  will  happen  to  me  ?  am  i  gonna,     like,     die  ?  is  this  a  ‘   i’m  doing  this  to  sustain  you  &  only  offering  a  little  bit  as  an  act  of  kindness   ’   kinda  thing,     or  …  ?   ’

❝ I have a show every night, except for Sundays, that’s when I visit my parents. ❞   not a part necessary to the point but it felt good to tell some truth opposed to lies. Besides her shows never last that long to begin with, and getting to spend time with an actual human being is something that hasn’t happened in a while. Most of the ones she knew were mere acquaintances and the rest usually get uncomfortable once you ask for blood. This is a chance meeting! Not something worth to mess up!                   ❝ So I see you then? ❞
