The three main types of living vampyres are energy, sanguine, and eros vampyres. All three types, while sharing a need to feed on the life force of others, exhibit differences in how they obtain and use this energy. Energy Vampyres

Energy vampyres, often called psychic vampyres, feed off the life energy or "prana" of others. This form of vampyrism does not require physical contact, and energy vampyres often feed by expanding their awareness to encompass the subtle energies around them. Energy vampyres can feed through focused attention on a group or on a single individual by drawing energy into themselves, often using breath or visualization techniques.

Energy vampyres can even manipulate the energy of others from a distance, connecting their subtle bodies to someone else's and drawing energy across the room. Although most individuals are unlikely to notice this energy drain, those attuned to their energy may perceive it as fatigue or emotional imbalance.

One key aspect of energy vampyres is their ability to feed on intense emotions like fear, passion, or ecstasy, making environments with high emotional energy such as concerts or dance clubs particularly ideal for feeding. However, the ethical aspect of feeding from unaware individuals is debated, and some prefer willing energy donors who understand the vampyre's needs.

Sanguine Vampyres

Sanguine vampyres differ from energy vampyres in that they feed on the physical substance of life: blood. While the act of consuming blood may seem purely physical, the vampyre seeks the life force contained within the blood rather than just the blood itself. The act of drinking blood allows them to absorb this vital energy.

The blood feeding of a sanguine vampyre is not merely for sustenance but is intricately tied to their spiritual and energetic needs. Blood serves as a bridge between the spiritual and physical planes, making this type of feeding particularly intense and profound for both the vampyre and their donor. 

In many cases, the act of feeding is described as deeply intimate, often associated with sensations of cold followed by warmth as the vampyre draws in life force. While blood is the medium, it is the subtle energy drawn with the blood that truly satisfies the vampyre's need.

Eros Vampyres

Eros vampyres can draw energy through sexual contact, often building up energy during the act and climaxing in a powerful exchange of life force. The energy drawn from this form of feeding is often described as explosive and mutually beneficial for both partners, as it can energize the donor rather than drain them, making it a sustainable form of feeding.

What distinguishes eros vampyres from other types is their connection to the root chakra and their ability to harness sexual desire as a means of sustaining themselves. While feeding on sexual energy can be productive, it requires skill and mastery to ensure that the exchange remains balanced and beneficial.

Some things here are actually pretty similar for me!

• Survival is based on feeding. A fed vampire is active and seems more alive / human, and a hungry vampire moves slower, appears more corpse like.

• Able to eat food for pleasure and small amounts of energy, but will never provide as much / as immediate relief as feeding vampirically.

• Eyes can glow in their own color (mine are personally golden, but every natural color is possible as well, along with red) and sclera turn black when hunting / using magic.

• Magic, visions, communication with spirits / demons / angels is possible.

• Some more powerful vampires can shapeshift, from individual body parts to entire transformations (into other people, into animals).

• Blood Bonds exactly as you describe!! Usually done between vampire mates / eternal partners / spouses (whichever word you prefer).

• Weaknesses depended on energy level and bloodline. For me, I am not bothered by garlic, holy water, etc, but sunlight can be bothersome causing headaches or sensitivity when not fed.

Orange juice, salt and dark chocolate are all ways to keep up your blood content and to stay healthy in your body

I am an awakened vampire, so supernatural genes, such as being a vampire, tend to get activated around 14-16 years old. And I've known I'm a vampire since around 15 years old.

Vampire eyes either glow red or silver (possibly red due to intense emotions, like hunger, and glowing silver due to using magick)

Vampires have covens, and can be witches!

Vampires can also be gifted in different ways, such as having premonitions or visions

Not all vampires have wings or are able to transform into animals, but some do!

There are many different types of vampires! Such as Awakened Vampires (born with the vampire gene, awakens when they mature/it gets activated by another vampire), Turned Vampires (have to be bitten by another) and Undead Vampires (have to be bitten and to die), etc.

I don't use terms like "psychic vampire" or "sanguine vampire", but I don't mind that people do, it's just not my lore.

Vampires can have a blood bond with another, by exchanging vows and/or exchanging blood, as some sort of contract. This can also be done through a magical ritual.

I don't specifically have sun or garlic weaknesses as a part of my bloodline, but I do believe that's different for turned vampires. I do have some metal weaknesses/allergies though, and some light sensitivity.

Vampire girlfriend who bites her lip. She'll get so lost in thought that those cute little fangs will poke out of her mouth, sinking into her soft flesh without any indication of pain. You reach over and wipe the blood from her face with your thumb, and it's only then that she realizes, Oh, I'm doing it again.

You chide her softly. If she keeps it up, her mouth will eventually start to scar. She simply smiles at your concern, her fangs retreating back into her mouth as she leans in to kiss you, the strange tang of her blood cold against your tongue.

Your vampire girlfriend needs to drink human blood at least once a week to be able to survive. She appears uncomfortable when you suggest that maybe she should just take it from you, that it would be easier that way. You both should be able to work together to find a safe way to do it, to let her feed without hurting you, and that's when the experiements start.

She goes for the neck first. It's the easiest and most natural for her, but when she's finished drinking she finds that the blood is just too hard to staunch.

At first you both enjoy it when she sinks her teeth deep into your inner thigh, but it's harder to work than she expected, and the bruises take so long to fade.

On week three she decides to go for your wrist. She kisses the back of your hand, her cold lips reassuring against you before she turns it over and sinks her fangs in. It hurts, but she doesn't have to go too deep here, and it's easier for her to kiss your wounds dry. Her touch is careful as she binds your wrist after it's all over, her hunger satiated and her heart grateful for the gift you continue to give to her.
