FRIENDS
When I was at school I thought that every new person I met was instantly my friend but I learned the hard way that is not always like that. I remember in one of my trips buying a book ‘how to make real friends’ (NOT the exact tittle btw). Altough I had a lot of people sorrounding me at a young age I could not called them my friends. (I did not read the book but I mentioned it to make a point .ha!)
It is not only hard to find a friend but also to be one. It is easy to be at the highest moments but being at the lowest moments can show how strong is your friendship. I found it very difficult when you have to comfort people but I’ve learned that people appreciatte if you are just there.
Luckily, time past by and can say that I have a great group of friends.  I will write about three of my best friends. They haven’t met each other and I met them at different phases of my life.
* SOFÍA: I met her when we were kids. We went to school together and at first glance our personalities are opposites. She seems shy and I seem outgoing but she is just quited and I am the shy one. Sofia let me stay at her house every ‘quinceañero’ we had, I guess that is how we became closer. She is also the type of friend that I can not talk in weeks or months but when we talk again is like we never stopped talking. I live apart from EVERYWHERE  but she pickes me up at my house and at the end of the night takes me back home. That itself is a good reason to love her but she has proven me among this years that I can trust her. Ijust love her.
*EMILIO: Yes, is a he and yes, he is just my friend. I have heard too many times that a boy and a girl can’t just be friends but we actually are.
It is true when people say that women are complicated, I know I am, but men are white or black, they are way too easy to talk to amd I like that. He is the one I can ask anything like girly stuff, dating and even SEX! I really appreciate this guy. I met him when I was 19 years old, we were studying at the same place so we spend some time together and  after all these years we still remain close.
*CARMEN: You gotta love this girl. She is super fun, outgoing and carefree.  My chances of meeting her in a regular day are low cause she studies in a different university (not only because of the place but different career too) , lives in another district and I lost contact with the only person we have in common through facebook. I met her when I took the work and travel program, I have to say that I met a lot of great people too but she is somehow special. The first day of training she was really quiet and had a poker face so we didn’t talk at all, the next day she got late for work and we ended up working together that day so we talked a little more. After that, we made a team and after work we spend a lot of time together shopping and eating a lot. Any other way to make good friends??
I really love these guys. I am thankful of the people surrounding me and eventhough people will come and go, I truly hope of keeping the best ones always next to me.

Yes, I’m a Swiftie!
I’ve always loved Taylor’s music but it wasn’t until a couple of months that I truly embraced the term “Swiftie” in my life. I wasn’t ashamed or anything like that, I just thought that to be called a “Swiftie” you had to know every little detail about her, like... what is her favorite color, food or to know in which part of the world she is in this moment, I know she is touring but not exactly where, and things like that.
But, what made me change my mind? These things made me realise that being a “Swiftie” is more than you can imagine.
Like they say: “You are who you surround yourself with”. Taylor has a lot of (like A LOT OF) friends, even when people say that is hard to find true friends in the industry. Whenever she posts a photo of her ‘squad’, makes me want to spend time with them for a week ( a day wouldn’t be enough!). And also helps the fact that I am totally obsessed with three of her friends: Ed Sheeran, Hayley williams (thanks to paramore) and Lena Dunham. She makes me appreciate my friends, I know that I’m not famous but I guess that we should have someone you can trust.
Taylor is great whether is pop, country or both! It’s simply amazing how bold enough she is to show everyone that she has evolved, If she doesn’t feel it she’ll say something. She knows she has a voice and is not afraid to use it. Just remember that time when she changed everything in one of the biggest companies in the industry (yes, the fruit brand). I was really proud of her. She is really hard-working and you can see hit after hit and of course in every award season she kills it.
‘Tay Tay’ loves her fans. She has invited many of them to her own house, I’ ve never heard of any other artist doing that and for a special gig, nothing less. When she meets a fan who needs help she is there. She takes the time to answer as many messages as she can which makes an instant connection with fans. Every artist is famous because of fans and not all of them are thankful with them. I have to admit that nowadays more artists are conscious of the importance of people and they are more grateful with fans but we still have to give a lot of credit to Taylor.
This kind of list could go on and on but i have to finish at some point. I imagine that you (Taylor) have a personal assistant but if for some reason he/she has to leave please count with me.  As a favor, I’ll ask you to let me know in advance if you ever come to Peru so I can be mentally prepared and to start saving money right away.
I’ve been planning to write this for a few days but today had to be the day. I woke up with the heart broken and I can’t find a better opportunity to say THANK YOU. You were there when love was in the highest point, you are with me when love isn’t here at all and I am sure you will be there when I’m ready to begin again.
love,
Vanessa.
