Styling your forum pages for mobile devices

We all know Jcink has a mobile version. And I think I speak for all of us when I say it sucks. So as I was updating my base skin, I thought I'd share my framework for styling Jcink pages on desktop mode for mobile. (aka another attempt to ask this lovely rpc to stop making me scroll sideways or zoom to use the built-in features on your forums T_T)

This is mostly a matter of targeting the right elements, stacking them, and removing any extraneous information. These are all in a media query, and it includes the codes you'll need in your wrappers to make it work as intended. If you have any questions, feel free to @ me either here on tumblr or on discord.

There is no real styling for any of these pages, it's just a bare bones framework to make it all work better when you're viewing the desktop mode on your devices. So you may need to add/adjust some things to fit your skin best. Feel free to get into it and change it up for your needs!

alright so first off please ignore how small this seems, as i had to zoom out to get it to record correctly but... i give you the completed (maybe, mostly, i hope) post row, including finalized mini profile. my immense thanks goes to daine from coding camp for helping me to fix and add in my transitions after i seriously struggled with them. i hope you guys like it! i am honestly weirdly proud of this hover because i just really love the animated color background and the way it ties in a bunch of the different animated color background elements and highlights the hover. other than that though, i think i'm going to move on from the post row now and keep trucking on with this skin. my goal is to finish it for pride month, since it is a pride month skin, but... we'll see! let me know your thoughts if you want, i'm forever down for constructive criticism and feedback. thanks!!

Hey There Jcink Fam!

I know I’m still new to this, and with everything going on I took a hiatus from rping because I’m stressed from the news. As a WOC this is heartbreaking on so many levels. So, in order to help heal my mental health I was considering taking on commissions or small projects within the jcink community. I don’t ask for much, and won’t ask for much. lately i wasn’t feeling very muse-y when it came to new skins but i ended up making this in the span of a couple days because i got inspiration for the forum rows and just went from there. i’m so stupidly proud of this skin and i really went back and forth on whether i should sell it or not, but in the end, i’ve decided on selling it.
