so apparently some people feel like it’s annoying when someone engages with a lot of stuff from the same person, like going through their ship tag and liking all the content there.
hearing about this, i was immediately paranoid about reblogging literally anything from anyone i don’t talk to on a regular basis.
so to save others from the same paranoia, i’m gonna say that if you like every single post on my goddamn blog it is okay. i might be kind of concerned about your level of time management, going through 23,000 posts, but it wouldn’t bother me.

Gabriel had been exhausted from he time he woke up to the time he passed out in their bed waiting for Vlad. He had even stayed in the castle and not gone to the villagers. Over the past few weeks he had been getting more and more tired to the point everything was exhausting. It was exhausting to fly so he walked more. There was also an incident a few days prior. He had been heading for a village on the border on horseback when he had to pull over and had been violently, physically sick. He had expelled his breakfast he had eaten and continued to do so for some time. That in itself was scaring him. He was obviously sick, but angels don't get sick. He was praying and waiting for his father to speak to him but his Father wasn't responding. That was even stranger. Usually God would speak to him, especially when he wanted him to go somewhere for a battle or other task but he had been silent the past few weeks since Gabriel had become so exhausted. It was bothering him more than anything. At least, it bothered him when he was conscious.
Gabe woke up as Vlad was changing for the night and sat up. He felt tired still but more awake. The servants had delivered his dinner and he'd eaten while waiting for his lover.
"I'm sorry, I guess I fell asleep. Good day?" He asked and he tried to listen to Vlad's response. He didn't get that far. Gabriel felt the most unusual feeling and his stomach suddenly twisted. There was a brief second where it all stopped and then suddenly, Gabriel looked towards the window and launched himself at it. He leaned over the edge looking at the darkness below him that went on for God knows how many hundreds of feet and proceeded to be violently ill.
The illness lasted for a while, several long minutes. When Gabriel finally leaned back up he was dizzy and lightheaded but thankfully no longer nauseous. He went straight for the washroom and cleaned himself up wanting to pretend he didn't just do that in front of his lover. When he emerged he sat on the bed and stared at the Dragon.
"I'm very sure something is wrong with me."

Blood. Screaming. Weapons. Armor. Gabriel tossed in his sleep. Blood. Screaming. Fighting. Children crying. Gabriel shook in his sleep and tears seeped from his eyes. War. His head was filled with visions of ancient battles past and horrible nightmares. Always screaming and blood filling his memories and it all shook him to the core. He hated it all. All the fighting, all the misery, all the war, the blood, the pain.
He walked through the battlefield. He stepped over the bodies of comrades and enemies alike. Their bodies would turn to dust and Earth just as they had begun from the time of Adam. Gabriel crossed himself as he stepped over more bodies. His armor was wartorn, destroyed, and cracked. Blood seeped down his shoulder from an enemy sword that had gotten too close when he wasn’t paying enough attention. The sky opened above his head and it began to rain hard, washing the blood into the soil of the field. The bodies were cleaned before his eyes. Even the angels were crying from the Heavens. Gabriel felt himself beginning to tire to the point he hit his knees and looked up to the rain. The water splashed his face and he felt weeks of dirt and blood run off his face and his hair. He felt tears run down his face. He wept for the battle, for the fathers and sons who would never come home, for the lost souls, for the pain in his shoulder, and for the endless weeks of the war he had suffered through just to lose everyone. War had no winners, only survivors.
Gabriel awoke with a start. The tears from his dream were still running down his face. He was drenched in sweat, the bed had been tangled around him. He couldn’t get the images out of his head. He just wanted this all to end. He then looked around and realized where he was.

"Have you spoken to him? Seen him for yourself? That's unusual for a vampire. He must be a youngling or freshly bitten. Most vampires don't eat more than a couple people a month. He's in a frenzy. I'm going on the hunt but you need to stay away. It's only gonna get more dangerous."
"Wait! Wait, I know you! You are a vampire hunter, aren't you?"
I hunt a lot of things, including vampires. Why? Is there one causing you problems?

He laughed ruefully and hit his head on the stone again, this time splitting his forehead a little. He didn't know what to say. He didn't know what to feel. He felt like his entire life was a lie. But he knew it wasn't. He had killed his lover, killed their children, and killed his love again!
"What is wrong with us? If all that you've said is true then why would you want to be with a so called 'angel' like me? It seems to me that being with me ruined your life. You could've just got married, had human kids, ruled Transylvania how you wanted to, and things would've been better. What could I have possibly done that has made you love me so much?!" Gabriel released his emotions as a something trickled down his face. He touched his face and realized he really had split his forehead because it was dripping down his face. "Dammit."

"I know you would do anything. I would as well." Gabriel hadn't told Vlad about the prayers he had been making to his father, to either change him into a woman or when the Prince passed away when his time comes he could be an angel so they really could be together forever. Humans died easy. It was damn near impossible to kill an angel. Only a handful of people knew how in the world. Gabriel knew that one day he would carry Vlad to heaven and beg his father to keep them together. If only he didn't have to. Gabriel had often thought about Vlad having children, them having the same black hair and blue Transylvanian eyes he loved. It was tormenting. "I never want to leave you. I promise that I won't. I only wish things were different." He wishes he was different. Gabriel wiped at his eyes.
"There's something I have to tell you about." He needed to change the subject. All these thoughts in his head we're driving him mad. He didn't want to start an argument with Vlad over all this. They had exchanged these words more than once over the past few months. "I've been making my rounds and healing the sick where I go, but I found something, a flu. It's taken the lives of four people this week. I'll have to go out longer but I don't want there to be an outbreak. I wouldn't be able to heal an outbreak." Gabriel healed numerous people every day. From the usual bump or bruise to more serious and lethal illnesses. He went further and further into Romania every day healing more and more but it was taking it's toll. He was more tired, slept longer, ate a little more to regain strength. His older brother had taught him to become one with a mountain or tree and rest for a few hundred years but he didn't want to do that. He didn't tell Vlad what all his work did to him. It would hurt him. "Something will have to be done."
Gabriel pulled away from Vlad and sat on the bed. He was really tired. Vlad had taken longer than usual to come back and Gabriel couldn't sleep without him anymore. All he wanted was to sleep.

He listened to her. He felt sad knowing she had gone through so much in her short life. From living without her dad, losing her mother, losing Benjamin, all she’s had to live through. There was no way he was going to let her stay on her own if he had any say in this. Like it or not, she was his daughter. He felt that urge deep down, call it father’s protectiveness, to make sure she was okay and to make it up for never being there. Maybe she could fill in some gaps, but he wasn’t leaving her.
“Then I guess we’re heading for the coast of France, or rather, we are heading to Calais. Apparently, she’s been eating the sailors who make port there before they head off to Britain. So far there’s over a dozen bodies that have washed up. We’ll start off tomorrow. It’ll take about three days if we go by horse but we’ll have to take our time given your injuries and recent recovery.” Gabriel gathered up his things. “I have to go out for a bit. If I eat anymore of that damn soup I’m gonna start speaking Dutch.” He smiled at his own joke. “I’ll be back in a little while. Try to rest.” He opened the door and paused. “And for the record, you saved not just yourself, but you saved many others Benjamin would have hurt. If he would have turned you, you might have ended up like that couple we buried. You can’t keep beating yourself up. If he really loved you like you love him, he would want you to be happy. He wouldn’t want you to beat yourself up.” He left after that.
When he returned she seemed deep in thought but he didn’t press her. The next morning they left the hotel and began their journey to Calais, with a quick stop to a small farm to procure a second horse for Helena. Van Helsing new the next few days were gonna be rough. He could only hope she was up for this.
The trip didn’t take as long as they thought as they arrived in Calais very late on the second day. It was dark, the streets were completely empty, and he could smell the ocean as they walked the horses into town. They waled along a cobblestone street, freezing thanks to the misty ocean air, and heard the waves on the shores. He kept a keen ear out listening for a song but so far he heard nothing.

A silver stake… check. Silver bullets… check. Gun… check. Garlic, silver daggers, a cross and holy water. Bouble check to be on the safe side and she was ready to leave. Tucking six blades into the straps of her black boots, she took the leather bag that she had that held all her weapons against all kinds of beings that didn’t belong to nature.
Helena stepped outside and the cold air of Amsterdam hit her face, the only part of her body that was uncovered by clothing. Being in her hometown didn’t make her feel particularly safe that day. She could not be safe anywhere; not with those creatures wondering about.
Hunting them was not easy. But she tried. She had heart stories of the great Van Helsing - her father. Her long-gone father, whom she had never met but had heard so many stories about him that she felt she knew him. She sometimes imagined her looking like him or behaving like him at least. Would he like her? Would he teach her his ways and tell her how to hunt?
She pushed those thoughts away from her brain and she blinked her eyes to wake up from that daze. She wished she would meet him, if he was still alive. Was he even alive? She thought him long dead or missing. Nobody knew where he was.
Helena again pushed those thoughts away as a screech was heard from somewhere behind her. The darkness of the night had encouraged the werewold to come out, the full moon welcoming the beast that freed himself from his human form.
“Silver bullets and the silver stake…“ Helena whispered to herself as she turned with a sudden movement, almost as fast as a vampires, even if she was a mortal. She shot her gun but missed. The beast howled and jumped behind a building. “Damn you!” she cured under her breath. She took careful steps and moved towards where he was. Something she did not expect was for him to jump right on her. A scream left her mouth, echoing with his own loud growl. She had time to shoot her gun right through his stomach. Grabbing the silver stake from her pocket, she aimed it to his heart but he had already scratched her almost fatally. She was not bitten. Only scratched. It was a deep scracth across her neck, chest and stomach. And the silver stake was resting right in his heart now.
Helena lay there, breathing less and less as seconds became minutes. A last howl left the wolve’s mouth as sharp teeth turned back to a human’s. Claws became fingernails. Hair became skin.
The last thing she saw was a shadow abover her. A man in a long coat and a hat that covered most of his face…

Gabriel watched Sarah and Lily making sure to watch for warning signs Lily was overwhelmed. He trusted Sarah but she was brand new at this and didn’t now her own strength. She could easily kill anyone she touched, not just Lily Marshall. Gabriel watched as Lily perked up and seemed to feel better. She looked better.
“Pull back once you no longer feel any pain. Then I’ll assess how you did.” He allowed Sarah to finish before placing a hand on Lily and doing the same. Sarah did very well. The measles were gone along with the ear infections. The teething needed some work but she was still learning and the teething wasn’t deadly. Just annoying to poor Lily. He soothed her gums with his own grace and looked to Sarah. “You did very well. Her infections are gone and the measles has been stopped before it could start. She’ll be fine now. We should get going. We’re done here.” Gabriel touched her arm and left the room. He assumed Sarah was following him as they made their way down the hall.
“There’s our next job. Teenage boy who fell off his bike today. Let's go assess him and see whats wrong.” Gabriel pointed to a small Asian id who looked about fourteen who was holding his stomach in pain on a bed while his mother looked angry. She kept yelling at the doctor demanding they drug test her son. She swore up and down he had eaten edibles or snorted something and that’s why her son was in pain. The kid was hunched over, arms around himself, blood dripping from his nose, a bruise on his face, and scratches down his arms. Gabriel sensed this kid was far sicker than he looked.
“This one might be a challenge.”
Between Angels || Gabriel & Sarah
Sarah didn’t sleep. Only the living needed their sleep, and Sarah was dead for the last five years. That car accident had caused her life to be stopped abruptly, takin away the opportunity to do anything she had dreamt of. Anything but one thing… She had come back as an Angel, a protector of humans. She was a young one, not always knowing exactly what to do and thus, anxiety was common with her. But somehow she always found a way to protect those in need and always successfully. She was proud of this. That was her task now and she was good at it.
It was a chilly fall night when Sarah was outside, standing at a corner of a building. Nobody was able to see her or hear her. She had the ability to appear when she wanted to be seen and heard when she wanted to be heard. Her wings were unseen, hidden, still inside her backShe let her eyes roam around, stopping on the tall figure that had appeared. Sarah squinted a little bit, even if her sight was more than perfect, due to her nature. She had never ever seen him before but deep inside she immediately knew who it was. That made her let a small gasp of awe out and her eyes were lowered. She moved, making her slow way towards him, seeing him making his own towards her, curiously. Did he also knew what she was? Was there a common sense among beings of the same kind that let each and every one know it when they came across another one of the same speecies?
“Oh my God…“ Sarah whispered, immediately lowering her eyes and bowing down to him out of respect. “Gabriel…“
