I'm in my "Thick Ass Edgeline" Era

A few months ago I worked in tandem with my younger brother to design Lottie's Dorm Uniform which was brought to life by the ever lovely, ever wonderful EllieSeren! I did make some adjustments to the design later on such as changing Lottie's hairstyle and adding her gloves and earrings. Ellie and I agreed that the outfit would be delivered unrigged, and I took up the task of rigging her myself. I am only mentioning this because the rigging on her cloak is horrible and I don't want people to think that was Ellie's doing. 100% me babey~ (I will pay someone to rerig this for me).

Like most fan made uniforms for Ramshackle, the outfit takes very heavily from Lolita/Victorian Era fashion, Grim and The Ghosts. The pattern on the overskirt is part of the danmask of the Haunted Mansion's wallpaper. The face on the collar doesn't have a particular origin and was just added for visual appeal, but I'm tying it to the Haunted Mansion Holiday Overlay in the California and Tokyo parks because it reminds me of the face on the pumpkin Jack wears during This Is Halloween. And, just between you and me, I don't think I would be half as attached to The Haunted Mansion as I am if it wasn't for the Jack's Haunted Mansion Holiday Tour on TNBC's 20th Anniversary Bluray DVD.

I've made it part of Lottie's canon that she's rarely seen without a set of gloves on. The canon reason is that she bites her nails when stressed (which happens often at NRC let's not lie), but I also wanted an excuse to make Victorian Man Seeing A Woman's Ankle jokes every time she has to take them off. It can also be tied to how older classic cartoon characters always wear gloves. (I swear that cafe scene from An Extremely Goofy Movie is going to live rent free in my head for the rest of my life for all the wrong reasons).

I based her wand on gas street lamps and the Caretaker's lantern. The flame of the candle is blue to reference Grim, as well as a nod to the fire color that makes up Hades', and by extension Idia and Ortho's, hair in Hercules (I really should elaborate more on Lottie's relation to Ignihyde). I couldn't figure out where to place the Magestone for the longest time, but I settled on placing it inside of a crystal ball at the head of the wand to mimic Madame Leota. The Magestone will always face upright, no matter what position the wand is in (in theory) and it's purple to match the one Grim wears on his collar.

Marokuri had taken down Skully a few hours after he had been released due to ongoing issues revolving people trying to notify them of illegal ports of their models in VRChat. I don't fully understand the entire situation enough to speak about it or take sides, but as of posting this Marokuri hasn't said anything about prohibiting those who currently have Skully from using him. I'm going to tread carefully regardless

This is Florette, she was created so Lottie could have a female friend her age during the time when I got... a bit obsessed with Snow White's Prince. That was back in August of 2024

Florette was born and raised on Sage's Island and attends a public school in Foothill Town. She's an adventurous young woman with the desire to one day leave her island home and head out into the world proper. Florette's known for having a tomboyish attitude with little regard for what girls of her age typically like or care for. She becomes smitten with Neige after the SDC, and starts striving to become a heroine worthy of her chosen Prince Charming!

Messing around with Lottie's Hair Physics (... again) and I kept using NatsumiSan's APT. Challenge motion to test them out because a) this song is an ear worm and b) it's short. The physics aren't perfect, but they're good enough for me for now (o^ ^o)

Decided to make a Valentine's Day themed outfit for Lottie when we started setting up our Valentine's Section at work. I only just now got around to finishing her. Pink is not usually a color I associate with Lottie, but it's Valentine's Day and I am a Girly Girl in both heart, mind and soul. A full preview of the outfit can be found under the cut

Using the fact that I have to update basically all of Lottie's costumes now that I have a new and improved base as an excuse and opportunity to redesign some of them as well. Her Rabbit Costume has gone through three different alterations, with this one being the third and hopefully the one that will actually stick.

Pulled a lot of inspiration from Epel specifically for this one, albeit unintentionally. Lottie refers to the both of them as "bonnet buddies" for the White Rabbit Fest and Epel has to hold back profanities every time she says it.

I redid Lottie's base model a little while ago, so right now I'm in the process of remaking and updating all of her different hairstyles. I decided she gets a ✨~Traumatic Hair Cut~✨ during Lilia's Dream shortly before Book 7.7 had dropped in JP, so now I'm not even sure if she gets to keep it (in my heart she keeps it, this is character development for her)

The original version of the Traumatic Hair Cut was a set of shorter pigtails, but they weren't curly enough in my opinion for continuous use so I swapped them out for a cute and trendy ponytail. It also has the added benefit of being a lot harder for Silver Owl Mooks to grab 😤!

Lottie's Birthday isn't until January (she's a Birthday Buddy with Lilia), but I was inspired by the Relaxing In My Room sets and wanted to give her a set of night clothes before I forget

The cat plush is designed to be A Legally Distinct Disney Twisted-Wonderland Grim Plushie. It was a gift that Deuce got her in Book 6 between the time of Grim going feral and scratching her and S.T.Y.X. capturing the Overblotters to help her feel better about his sudden disappearance. The nightgown itself is a gift from Vil, also given during Book 6. After discovering that her sleep clothes are just old button up shirts and uniform slacks she finds around Ramshakle and patches up in Book 5, he goes out and buys her a bunch of proper pj's during her stay at Pomefiore in Book 6

Created a variant of Lottie's Platinum Dress with her hair down. This was supposed to be the default hairstyle for the outfit, but after giving the Platinum Jacket images another look over I realized that no one had their hair styled differently and scrapped the idea

I like giving Lottie as many different hairstyles as I can, mostly because it's canon to her lore that she takes good care of her appearance (or at least as best as she can in Ramshakle. A moment of silence for her skin when she had to test out new skincare products) and makes an active effort to look her best at all times. She doesn't like being dirty so the first couple of weeks at the beginning of the school year where... something

Lottie's Platinum Dress was the third outfit I designed for her back in January when the Platinum Jacket Birthday SSR's where still running in JP. This is actually the second iteration of the dress and the one I like the best so it gets posted onto Tumblr

I chose to base Lottie's Platinum Dress outfit on Minnie's 100th Anniversary dress to have her match Grim (and by default Mickey) instead of the Platinum Jacket outfits worn by the others. I probably could have done more to have Lottie match Minnie, but the inspiration was always a bit loose to begin with so I'm not stressing too much about it

As someone who was obsessed with The Nightmare Before Christmas from late elementary school through the entirety middle school, I was legally obligated to make an outfit for Lottie for the upcoming Halloween Event in JP. She's kinda giving "1950's widow who killed her husband and got away with it" vibes, and while that wasn't the intended result I'm sticking with it

She's missing the badge but I'm waiting until the event starts and the Live 2D models are ripped so I can get a closer look at it before I start recreating it in Metasequoia. I also have to find a way to slap Jack Skellington's face on there somewhere. I did think about making her earrings his head, but I figured that would have been a bit distasteful
