TRAVELOGUE

Matabungkay beach in BATANGAS

January, 1 2022 when me and my friends travel to batangas, we stayed there in 3 days. After celebrating new years eve, we planned to unwind and create a memorable experience there. That trip to batangas has a special place in my heart because of that perfect 3 days that we stayed there was so asthetically pleasing. The mesmirizing view, the foods, the activity and the memories we made was all unforgetabble. If I had to recommend some activities we had there it was non other than;

•Snorkling

•Jet skiing

•banana boat ride

•Island Hoping

This coming summer with this kind of weather, I just wanted to go back to batangas and have the beatufil tan lines in my skin while enjoying the view again and again even in forever.

 AM I GOING TO COLLEGE OR NOT?

Being a grade 12 graduating student, I know that I'm not alone in this situation where everybody feels like pushing me into the edge of jumping into a decision i'm not sure about or putting my self in a situation that i'll surely regret. 

Graduation is coming and so is the questions like "are you continuing your school in college, what course your taking in and if not so then are you going to stop and will start to find a job" those questions is been on my mind lately and is really pressuring me like do I really have to answer that now? because I feel like I don't know yet where I supposed to put my self because I don't or my family don't have that priviledge to choose just what I want, I'm stuck in a choices of my dreams or practicality. I wanted to go to college but I dont have the courage to see my parents struggling to get financial necessities just to give me the fuck i needed to finish my course. I have all that reason stopping me to go to college but the idea of being able to go to college hindering me in my decisions. For those questions being ask in me where I just remain silent or answered in a sarcastic way, its not that I don't want to answer the questions its just like i dont have the answer in my head yet. I'm still undecided. 

Even the courses I want to take is still fighting inside my head if I do want to take law or psychology, the pressure keeps hunting me and I'm afraid that I'll make a decision I'm not sure about. If not that, should I stop my study and just start to find a job? I'm also thinking of why not doing both at the same time like being a working student but I realize that I'm not ready to take that kind of multitasking because I'm afraid that what if one of that choices affect the other? Like my job affecting my academical performances or what if I can't survive the hardships like the time management, loosing my time for my self, the cramming the burnouts and what this can do in my mental health. 

All those thoughts and pressure inside me yet I'm still here figuring out the answers in all those why's and what if's. I know I'm not the perfect one but I have to be the bravest one to face those questions to help me find the right choice and do it without any bit of regrets.

True Narratives- A way of telling or stating facts and true events that are seen or experienced. True narratives are often used on writing non-fictional essays, it is based on real incidents and true to life stories that includes the plot, setting or characters of the story.

Testimonies- A declaration of a truth or fact with the support of evidences given by a witness, it is usually used in the court of law. Testimonies are often used in written or spoken statement and is formaly made and provided by proof or existence of something that is true.

CRITIQUES

Introduction- The introduction was full of emotions of the writer which is a good start in writing your testimonies to catch your audience or readers attention.

Summary- In sum of all that has been stated, I think that the writer was to focus on details that even details that are not totaly needed was in his testimony but all in all I personally like how he/she delivered the testimony with all of the emotion that he/she feel.

Evaluation- To evaluate the testimony, the writer seems to be genuine and true about what he/she is feeling, and the experience or event seems true because of so many details and the fact that it can feel by the readers was a well done speech.

Conclusion- Narrating your experiences through speech or essays are not that easy but for the writer that has give his/her testimonies with all that audience was a beautiful words of wisdom. The story of him/her being called by god is so inspirational.

"What does lent mean to you?"

In this lenten season every time of the year, this could feels like different to others but some would not feel the same, lenten season can be special to others while some says that it is just like ordinary days and thats because we have our own beliefs and cultures, we have different perspectives on how we see and appreciate some things.

For me lenten season is not how we celebrate it or how we react with it, lenten season is based on how we spend our days in this time of the year. With a lot of faiths and beliefs some people are celebrating this season because they say that it is the time where our supreme god sacrifice himself for our sins and to his miracle in coming back alive from the death. However, other people with unalike beliefs are those who see this season as the most perfect time of going in a vacation doing swimmings and hanging out with friends and loved ones while others are just relentless and still doing their daily lives like ordinary days and nothing so special about it.

Nonetheless, I believe that whatever we do and how we see this lenten season, it doesn't really matter as long as we have our own faith, own beliefs and our own happiness because at the end of the day whatever happens, life goes on. Lenten season or whatever season it is, it's still about how we spend and make our days better.

With all that opinions, I only mean one thing. It is that we have our own timeline and seasons, We have different beliefs about where and when we do such things even if its related in religion, culture, happiness and life style. It is important to have our own ways on how we spend our days.

I was in starbucks when I happened to over heard a group of friends talking, the conversation was like;

Friend 1 (Slang) : Gawd! I'm sorry I was late!

Friend 2 (Formal) : it's okay. You don't have to apologize, I just arrived here too a minute before you.

Friend 3 (Colloquial) : I know guys! We're in the Philippines aren't you used to it yet?

Friend 1 (Informal) : Come on! Let's get order I'm super thirsty.

Friend 2 (Pedantic) : My lungs also dried in thirstyness because of this hot weather, I could feel the sensation inside my nerve begging for a very cold water.

OLFACTORY

I can still remember the smell that enters into my nostril that its like a cherry blossoms in summer with the mix of smell of grapes flavored wine.

TACTILE

I could feel the coldness of his breath behind my ears while he wrap his arm around my waist and it breaks my heart like its stop beating for a while knowing that our story line ends.

GUSTATORY

I am currently sitting inside my favourite restaurant when i suddenly get a warmness of sweets inside my mouth with a sticky cheese and its creamlyness melting above my tongue.

While hearing the ideas inside my head, I can also hear the murmuring of my classmates trying to write their own concepts.
