My birthday approaches at the end of this week...though I hardly imagine it will be celebrated...

The mention of 'love and passion' sends a splash of rosy pink across Adelaide's sensitive complexion. She hides her face as she curtsies once more and answers:

"Th-thank you my Lord! Um, I will be close by should you require anything else!"

*she hurries from the room, flustered*

*she approaches with the previously requested glass of wine. There is a card on the platter which you notice when she offers the glass. According to the card, it is a Valentine's note courtesy of the Van Zieks Manor staff.*

"Thank you. Your work is greatly appreciated."

...As Van Zieks reads the card, he lets out a hum of acknowledgement. He had never been a big fan of Valentine's day, but...

"How quickly time passes. It's already the day of love in passion. In that case..."

INFORMATION ABOUT MUSE Name: Adelaide 'Addy' Cross Age: 29 (as of the end of Resolve) Pronouns: she/her Personality: Gentle, soft-hearted, self-sacrificing Background: Abandoned by noble parents as an infant due to her unusual appearance (believed to be demon baby when actually just extreme albinism giving her milk-white skin, white-blonde hair and blood red eyes), she is taken in by the circus. From roughly age 5-10 she acts as a porcelain doll. Once her body matures... she's exhibited as a captured angel, and is forced to wear a winged harness almost 24/7 at the risk of punishment should it be removed without permission. To this day her back bears signs of these punishments. After her mother figure in the circus is murdered, and the case is successfully prosecuted by young Barok van Zieks, the institution breaks up, leaving 17 year old Addy with nowhere to go...until Barok's elder brother hires her on as a maid... Through her time at the manor she's developed a...rather sizeable and embarrassing crush on Barok van Zieks.
