From the heart of unimaginable suffering, I want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported my family 🙏🏻

Right now, famine is hitting us harder than ever, my heart cries whenever I go to the market to buy any basic necessities! The prices are crazy, and most days my children survive on just bread Hunger and thirst are destroying us, and cooking on fire increases our suffering unbearably! Severe eye and chest sensitivity, in addition to constant stomach pain due to the type of food and the way it is cooked.

All this while we flee from one place to another in fear of bombing, bullets, and imminent danger! I cannot describe what I feel, but it is a feeling beyond exhaustion!

Despite the exhaustion, your support gives us strength and I hope you will not let us down

I think it'd be cool if more anime or media in general depicted physical fights between humans and wild animals more like reality. Wild animals that are similar size to humans are often just leagues stronger and tougher than them. Simply because that that's just how they've evolved to survive in their environment while humans went the fragile, but smart route. Like imagine some overconfident anime character who's the world's greatest magic-user or warrior or whatever tries to fight a dragon and gets completely obliterated.

Sure, they may be able to cast some absurd magical spell or pull off some insane physical technique or they have some enchanted sword, but it's a dragon. It's likely already evolved over millions of years to fight off other titanic magical beings. It would already have a steep advantage in terms of both controlling magic and physical prowess from the start, regardless of whatever training that schmuck from earlier has done. That's assuming the dragon itself hasn't done its own training either. It'd be like if prime Mike Tyson was pitted against an adult silverback gorilla. Yeah, Mike Tyson is a very proficient boxer, having years of training and experience, but that's a literal gorilla.

Save Mahmoud's family (@mahmoudkhalaff) - Mahmoud Khalaf is a PhD student in Ireland from Gaza. He urgently pleads for help to evacuate his family, who have been displaced multiple times and narrowly escaped death.

Operation Olive Branch is a project to help Gaza families to safety. Egypt is charing displaced Palestinians to get into the borders unless they are an Egyptian citizen. These Palestinians can't afford food and water, let alone the thousands they are charing. Operation Olive Branch has posted a sheet with all the family's GoFundMes for those who are able to donate.
