This wasn't the plan. This wasn't the fucking plan.

It had sounded so simple, at the outset: go into the forest, find your partner. She'd planned to meet up with Qrow -- half of these kids didn't have any idea what they were doing, couldn't navigate a forest if their lives depended on it. It should have been simple. And then Professor Ozpin hurled them off a cliff, and fucking Misfortune. She should have used her semblance. A hair sooner, and she would have taken herself to wherever his dumbass had landed, and all would be fine. But no.

Now she's standing in a clearing, staring back at the girl who had found her. The girl who is smiling so sweetly. It was a nice smile, but it did little to dull the irritation Raven was feeling. Fuck.

"...Fine." That was all she said. No introductions, no greetings. One word, and she's turning on her heel to start off into the forest. "Hurry up."

“I just wanna see if this works,” Qrow grunted as he tightened his hold on Raven’s hair and tugged.

He’d done his research ahead of time. He knew that this trick probably wasnt going to work on a bottle that wasnt already twist-top. Before he’d come in the room, Qrow’d prepared this bottle by loosening the lid.

But he was counting on Raven not knowing that. When the bottle cap clattered to the floor, Qrow let out a whoop of excitement. “Holy shit that worked!”

She's seconds away from snapping at him for whatever this idiocy is when he tugs her hair and -- plink -- the bottle cap pops off the bottle and lands on the floor, rolling away.

What.

Anger is immediately dissipated in exchange for sheer confusion. "...What the fuck just happened." Not a question, just absolute incredulity. Finally, she tugs her hair away from Qrow's hand, bending down to retrieve the cap.

A noise escapes Raven's throat when Qrow grabs her hair, and she has half a mind to tear herself away from the hold... but when she sees the way he's wrapping her hair around a bottle, confusion replaces irritation.

She'll be annoyed with him in a minute -- first she wants to see what the fuck he's doing.

It would be the little maiden, now, wouldn't it? Raven makes easy work of her skirt, slipping it past her hips to fall down around her feet. She steps out of it, taking no shame in having her simply underwear exposed, before reaching up as if to pull off her shirt...

...and redirecting, removing her her headpiece instead. The red bandana and black feathers are set aside, leaving Raven in her black underwear and top. "So close."

If she knew Blake thought she was an introvert, she would have laughed. It was cute. Fortunately, Raven can make this move without flustering the poor little kitten too badly -- reaching behind her to undo the wrap around her waist, dropping it to the side. Her top is unwrapping somewhat without the wrap to hold it closed, but she’s not entirely exposed.

Unhooking Omen from her hip, Raven gives a little more than just the weapon by removing her belts and the flaps that attach to them. She could have removed each piece individually if she felt like being particular, but this simply felt more fun.

She's getting down to her actual clothing now.

see, this is why @unlockthestars​ needs to finish their updating because I love writing this stuff with their Tai. The problem is we talk about it a lot so it doesn't always make it onto the dash but we love writing that angle of their relationship, watching it shift. Raven being unable to figure out why this sunshine idiot won't give up on trying to be nice to her. I am a fan. ;w;
