Time for records In dreamlike conditions of 18 to 24 knots of breeze we were able to increase our 24h run record of 441 nm set in the Pacific Cup 2016 to 465 nm in the first 24 hours of the Antigua Bermuda Race 2018! Moreover the race record of 3 days 20 hours got smashed by 2 boats. It was the Volvo 70 Warrior who set a new bench mark of 2 days 18 hours 32 minutes, breaking the previous record. But it is us with about 4 hours more on elapsed time to take the IRC overall win in this extraordinary offshore race. With this time we also beat the previous race record by round about 20 hours. We are happy with this result and Looping forward to the RORC Transatlantic Race 2018 to Hamburg in early July.
