Do you like red oktoberfest (like romantically)?
Aha! Interesting and very valid thing to ask! Thanks for your question!
I shall not answer straightforwardly!
Tumblr media
Doodle (1) and rambles you didn't ask for below the cut. The answer is in the last paragraph.
Clown language.
Tumblr media
I admit I personally prefer showing characters interact with each other and allowing their interaction to be interpreted as either romantic, platonic, or even nothing at all.
I think this approach makes relationships less framed by "signpost cues" of friendship/attraction/love (not that I do not enjoy seeing these either). I think it leaves more room for interesting human interactions, independent of what expectations the reader has for the two characters. Some people seem to search for actions like kissing, hugging, confessions, in order to confirm whether something was supposed to be romantic or not. But then, the absence of such cues make them arrive at conclusions that ignore other forms of relationship-building interactions all together :(
Tumblr media
(Fig.1: The unparalleled amount of different flavours of intimate feelings that are evoked from "getting shot and dying on your shoulder" - disease)
So for me, it's Schroedinger's character relationships, with a generous amount of "the true value of this relationship is the collection of interactions we have made along the way" and it doesn't need a name. So with that out of the way:
I am not averted to the idea of Medic and Heavy finally getting their hot steamy Tf2 Sex Update thanks for readin-

hello vaxx! i have been here for twenty minutes opening and closing your askbox trying to think of something worthwhile and interesting to ask you and havent managed to think of anything groundbreaking yet so for now im just stopping by to say hi.. hallo! i always look forward to seeing your art or having you in my notifications and i hope you are well!!
Mein guter Freund Theodor... It's such a pleasure to see you in my inbox. There's no need to write me anything groundbreaking, a nice little message such as this one makes me very happy, too. I'd like to return the compliment, I really enjoy seeing your artworks and reblogs on my dash.
Thank you for the well-wishes, I sure am doing well after your message!!

How many... languages do you speak?
Oh we're getting personal with the questions today. Speak as in active communication, that'll be 4. Up to you to guess which ones :)

what brush do you use for line art... asking for a friend of course.
Ah yes. This brush isn't available anywhere as far as I know.
It's a custom made brush by Ryou Sumiyoshi, author of MADK. They uploaded it to a cloud some years ago when they were really happy about a French publishing house contacting them about translating and printing their works in Europe.
The artist did ask people to not reupload the brush anywhere else, and they did take down the link some weeks after that, so I am reluctant to share the file with you but.
I can definetly show you the brush shape and some settings, so you may be able to recreate it yourself?
CSP has no easy way of changing the UI language unless you reinstall the entire program again and choose a different installation language, but for you I will set it to English so the things are easier to find.
The base shape is a diamond:

And most importantly the stabilisation setting is set to "reduce stabilisation when drawing quickly".
Tumblr media
70% of my art style is this brush, ok, you'll know what I mean once you recreate it yourself.
And just out of courtesy to the author of this brush, I'd ask you to not reblog this post publicly.
Have fun :)

I really like the Burly Beast flair that's coming from @gracefireheart's Red Oktoberfest's gem fusion.
Tumblr media
I bet he gets a lot of silly thoughts and starts giggling out of nowhere (It's medic coming up with a funny idea and telling heavy about it). He probably high-fives himself after doing something cool. King of self love, ultimate being, 10/10.
Oh and his rancid counterpart.

Hhhh I see something that has 4 human arms and I'm 💕💕💕
Drawing in this style is a bit hard for me. Everyone ends up looking too young.
Original crossover idea is by @lenny-link.

I want you to read this in the same choppy voiceclip splicing intonation from that one Pootis Engage scene where Heavy talks about getting thicc anime ass and goes my BoOdy? My bODDYy say Y̵̩̮̗̦̯̳̹͇̋͛ͅ ̶̨͚̭̝̩̟̫̪̑̄̈́̽̈́̂́̌̀͠͝É̶̜̼̤͈̠͍͖ ̸̧̲̫͕̈̋̆́s̵͖̞͎̺̖̓
my mind says do your readings, draft the storyboards, finish your analysis, write your paper, but my heart says heavymedic gem fusion and whatever those 17 unfinshed comic ideas in my drafts are

please tell me how can I be as funny as you
Lmao ok I will answer this one.
Step1.: Practise free talking in front of the mirror until you are comfortable with how you move your hands, your body, and your facial expressions.
Step2.: Become a Clown.
Bonus Step.: Listen to these artists = {"Bill Wurtz", "Tom Cardy", "Brian David Gilbert"}
If any of the videos from these artists make you laugh even once, you have good humour :)

Could I request Medic having The Mom Grip on Scout’s shoulder after the speedy moron almost let a mercenary secret slip while they weee getting groceries?

Three Europeans and two Americans walk into a grocery store in New Mexico.
I hope this is the right meme.
More silliness below.
This comic is the antithesis of the "wtf is a kilometre" joke.
The faces they make when they can't quite identify the type of brown bread in the bread aisle.

You don't know how [insert nationality here] you are until you go overseas and things are different.
Spy obviously has no problems with pretending to know how much a gallon of milk is, he just peeks into his conversion chart notes, pretending it's his shopping list.
Tumblr media
I want to think Heavy is completely fine with having to readjust to a new unit system, he just eyeballs most practical things anyways by holding them up and mumbling about how they approximately weigh like a chicken or his kettle bell etc. He's always been living in practical ignorant bliss.
Tumblr media
Medic has a peer reviewed meltdown the first time he realises there's no uniformity in "a cup of ____" because every object has different densities. He's diligent about memorising the conversion rates for ounces, pounds, the most common things etc., and recovers ok. He goes through the same stages of grief rage when he finds out about distances and lengths.
Tumblr media
Just remember four inches are 10.16 cm and pray no one asks you to specify anything bigger than inches.
Everyone does a mental victory lap when they manage to guess how much Celsius the weather is because they keep forgetting it's Celsius*5/9+32=Fahrenheit, Engineer reminds them patiently.
Tumblr media
The true victories are the correct temperature guesses we've made along the way.
One time, a friend asked me if I actually knew how much a tablespoon of flour was in gramms to convince me that metric users also make use of volume based units without thinking about them. But little did she know a heaped spoonful of 405 flour is about 15g and a level tablespoon is 10g.
Tumblr media
They claim Oolong just tastes better when it's boiled to 80°C exactly with a Bunsen burner.
You only asked for one scene but somehow I came up with a bunch of other things. This post was drawn across 2 months so the artstyle is all over the place. Thanks for your ask!

I have so much brainrot about Medic's wife, specifically the design from the comic doodles that Makani drew, I'm so ready to draw a whole comic about her, man I love hallucinating.

I'm sorry, but your Medic is the most appealing design I've ever seen of him!! You just draw him so.... shaped??? I dunno, it's just very good!!
This is such a cute message to get, here take this panel I drew today, it encapsulates my flushed reaction.

(There's no way you'll be able to guess the context to this panel)

fixed up the medic playlist big time. reorganized tracks, took out tracks that don't quite click, and added some pretty interesting ones. 100 songs total and i'm happy with how i've gotten better with curating :]
Tumblr media
at some point i probably will make artwork specifically for this playlist when i'm not too busy. in the meantime: check it out

Science Party and Red Oktoberfest both have this very appealing dynamic of a calm guy with a really kind smile combined with his clinically insane friend, and they go out enjoying each other's company while committing crimes against humanity. Together <3!
