Loop the Hoopa

I never got to draw my ghosty boi with a proper reference. So here's one!

As the Hoopa without a Prison Bottle, Loop was able to form a contract/ deal with Zai and create an alternative for their Unbound Form's power storage.

The stored power gained sentience within Zai's vessel over time, causing a bit of an issue between the two for a while. More on that later.

Loop isn't interested in relationships for himself, but likes shipping. He also wants to gain knowledge on such matters to have the upper hand and provide "advice" for Zai.

Palkia hates this guy ever since Zai showed up in their space.

This Hoopa loves jewelry, like, a lot. Has more silver than gold in his collections, and likes to compare gems and pearls in color and size.

His least favorite Berry is Sitrus, and his most favored one is Tamato.

Pranking is his favorite thing to do, but hates teaching others his tricks.. with the only exception being Chinami.

Loop thinks that wormholes are a "cheap way" of space warping.

This guy also loves taking photographs! Expect a lot of selfies when fusing with Zai, he even jumps to new dimensions to get unique scenery.

Not the most compassionate to strangers, but Loop puts effort into fixing things that really matter.

Zai Namazaki

So we've done reference sheets for Loop and Zai, there's still more room to sketch out the Mewtwos' later.

Her favorite type is Water, but has a closer connection with Dragon type Pokémon.

Her hobbies include tending to Berries, cooking, sketching, singing and playing games.

Likes junk food, especially wrapped food.

Zai hates fancy outfits, she tends to wear them as little as possible.

Zai's first adventure was in Hoenn, then all the way to Paldea. The region she stayed in the longest was Galar.

Sometimes she introduces her new Pokémon to family visits, but often tries to avoid increasing the times she comes over.

Her first partner was a Blaziken, but was lost to the first Sinnoh accident along with her older team.

Zai has a pretty random naming sense, her party Pokémon get either a cool nickname or a dumb one. Mi chan's an example of that.

Emotionally fragile, Zai tends to hide her feelings whenever they sound negative.

Works part-time jobs whenever she changes region. The best paying one was Richissime Hotel in Kalos.

Unbound form headcanons:

Multitype of Dark/Ghost/Psychic. Weak to Bug, Dark, Ghost and Fairy types and Resistant to Psychic and Poison types. Immune to Normal and Fighting types.

She tends to act more easygoing in this form. Despite the happy display, this Unbound form avoids crowdy places.

No Prison Bottle, Zai acts as the vessel for the Unbound form and its energy storage.

With enough focus, Unbound form can phase through and bend spaces to her will. Not as strong as Palkia, though.

Speaking of Palkia, her warping powers were a blessing given from said being. So it must be used responsibly if she wants to stay on their good side.

Overuse of her Unbound power will cause her serious effects depending on the duration and amount of energy.

Her fear of Bug Pokémon is only temporary in this form, because of Type matchup.

For some reason, the Hoopa ring is found on the back instead of the front.

Everytime they enter a new region, her powers are halted for a good month or two.

Base total stat of her Unbound Form is 700, with more balanced Sp. Def.

Mi chan

The mon, the legend. And my other main character for the comic. xD

It's about time I updated my reference for this fella. This time I added his mega forms. Lotsa headcanons under the line!

Created on New Island in Kanto. Has no recollection of his birth events there.

Makes sure to visit his cloned Pokémon at least once every month. Has closer bonds with Pikachutwo and Meowthtwo.

Likes to thrash about.

Very competitive in battle.

During his travels with Zai, Mi chan was caught in a Pokéball by her. Ultimately not something he'd prefer, but he chose it over being hunted on the daily.

Happily eats anything. Well, other than herbal-based medicine. His favorite berry is Oran.

Contest Star of Hoenn, once had a fan club in Lilycove.

Vocal speeches are pretty rugged, so he makes time to practice speaking with Zai weekly.

Likes to brush other Pokémon hair and styles them up when bored. Blume (Primarina), Hateno (Hattrene) and Sirknight (Gardevoir) come to him often because of this habit.

His hobbies are not limited to this, but he loves walking near lakes on moonlit nights.

Mi chan's dancing can vary from modern to classic standards, and he wants to learn more about different styles.

Adopted Chinami and Anemone as his family, when Suzy's more of a strange neighbor.

Holding hands means you're very trusted by Mi chan.

He doesn't like physical contact very much, but over time and travelling with Zai he discovered that he's quite touch-starved.

Mega forms headcanons:

His held item is a Mewtwonite X, though Mi chan can switch to either form using the Mega Stone as a link.

Mi chan X is capable of stretching any limb quite far, kicks and punches are much stronger when charged before release.

Mi chan Y's Psychic range can take on planet size, with perfect accuracy on controlling minds within range.

Both forms likes dancing, though many often wonder the point of Mewtwo mega evolving just for that.

Mi chan X's massive base stat is balanced well with Attack maxed out, but Mi chan Y's Sp. Attack surpasses both forms.

Can stay in either form as long as possible.

Major drawbacks happen when their abilities are used for too long. That includes immobility, brain damage, vision distortion, and other visual side effects.
