Cows deserve better
Dairy cows are often mutilated on farms in order to stop them from harming themselves or others after practically going crazy because of all of the suffering they endure. In cases of mutilation, “pain relief if not usually given”, meaning cows have to go through everything that they do all while being completely conscious, which is a horrible though, don’t you think?

Good reasons to get mad at a vegan:
-they implied everyone can/should be vegan, ignoring issues of poverty & health that make it impractical or impossible for many people
-they tried to make you feel bad about eating something
-they believe that the current animal abuse/environmental contamination/health crisis is caused by individual consumers rather than the manipulative capitalism of the meat and dairy industries
-they support PETA (eww peta)
Bad reasons to get mad at a vegan:
-they asked you about the ingredients of a food to find out if they can eat it
-they asked if your group could go to a restaurant with a vegan option
-you asked them to explain why they are vegan and they answered
-they got mad when you made fun of their diet

Stop Animal Suffering!
The stunning process not always working leads to 120 million pigs being killed in the U.S. alone each year that are still susceptible to feeling the pain of being butchered. The practices of factory farms is incredibly inhumane and something that can be easily avoided by not eating meat or just lowering consumption!

According to the US government's health department, “More than half of the population is meeting or exceeding total grain and total protein foods recommendations” while at the same time having diets low in fruits, vegetables, dairy, and oils. This is an easy excuse if you are looking for one to change your dietary habits! Remember, even if you don’t cut out meat entirely, lowering your consumption can be very helpful for the environment, slowing factory farms, and your health!

*HEADS UP* The video posted above is rather gruesome, and is definitely a hard watch, but if you are looking for a realistic look at what happens inside factory farms, this is exactly what you should be watching, as it contains all real footage!

Refusing to go vegan because you “love cheese too much” is the most boring personality trait.
