honey is not cruelty free, vegan or plant based. Keep in mind honey is the vomit bees produce to feed their larvae and it takes 1 bee an entire lifetime to produce 1 teaspoon of honey. If bees die off most plants and animals that rely on them will begin to die off withing 5 yrs. If humans disappear all other life will flourish, that's how more significant bees are to the planet then humans. Compassion is easy, convenience and lack of discipline and information is why people don't choose compassion more. Just some friendly tips to lessen your carbon footprint, these are all very helpful, however remember over 50% of all plastic in the ocean is from fishing nets and there are large floating islands of plastic composed of fishing nets and other things they get caught up in the large masses. recipe from @alexiskennedyofficial --- 𝐕𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐳𝐞𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐬 🫐 | Meal Prep | 7-Ingredients |Gluten-Free 🌱 👇🏽Full Recipe Below👇🏽 For the fruit topping, @wymansfruit wild blueberries. (Did you know that wild blueberries have 2x’s more antioxidant activity than ordinary blueberries?). For the yogurt, its coconut yogurt by @gtskombucha in the flavor “vanilla”. It’s loaded with probiotics and clean ingredients! 🔥 🌱Granola Base Ingredients🌱: ~ 1/2 cup almond butter ~ 1/4 cup maple syrup ~ 2 tbsps unsweetened vanilla almond milk ~ 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats 🫐Yogurt Topping Ingredients🫐: ~ 1 cup frozen fruit of choice ~ 1 tbsp lemon juice ~ 2 cups dairy-free yogurt ~*Optional* 1-3 tbsp maple syrup (The amount added depends on the type of yogurt used. Plain yogurt will need sweetener while flavored yogurt may not.) 📝Directions📝: 1. Combine all granola base ingredients in a small bowl. 2. Lightly coat an 8 x 8 baking pan with oil and place parchment paper on top. 3. Transfer granola mixture to the baking dish and evenly spread it until the entire base of the pan is covered. 4. Add frozen fruit and lemon juice to a pot. Heat over medium-low heat until fruit is thoroughly heated and softened. Set fruit mixture aside. 5. In another bowl, combine the dairy-free yogurt and maple syrup. Pour this mixture on top of the granola base. 6. Use a spoon to add fruit mixture on top of yogurt. Use a pointed object to create designs. 7. Freeze bars between 4 hours to overnight or until they have hardened. Remove from freezer and cut recipe into desired-sized squares. Enjoy! rescued am iguana today with the call from @njaidforanimals, he was in someone's backyard. Real sluggish and not difficult to grab. Unfortunately, his tail broke off when I grabbed him and he tried to escape. right now he is chilling, got him collard greens, carrots, Swiss chard and blueberries. with some purified water with added electrolytes because iguanas can't drink tap water unless it's treated. waiting on a foster to take him to (at Camden, New Jersey) https://www.instagram.com/p/CVB2cddL5e4/?utm_medium=tumblr
