re:SKIN, Scrybabies & Minitools issue

All of my sites are currently down. Unfortunately, so is the mechanism for accessing the server and managing the tool sites (so it's probably a whole-server issue). I'm trying to get the whole thing rebooted but that'll be tomorrow at the earliest.

re:SKIN - Hatchling Support!

I definitely didn't forget to update here!

re:SKIN now has previews enabled for hatchlings in preparation for the skin update. You're best off relying on the official tool for borderline skin/accent cases, but if you happen to notice significant discrepancies around the accent limit let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Minitools Additions: Exalt levels and Number Conversion

FR's formatting leaving you starved of commas? Zeros stretching into the blurred distance? Get your interpretations and currency conversions here!

Tables in guides are all very well for knowing what level to exalt at if you're exalting yourself... but what about raffles and battles with their extra-tasty payouts? Put the offer price for level 7s in and get your updated ranges!

(Based off research by the wise and wonderful Sylvandyr, assumes payouts are following the standard 1.5kt level change for level 4 and over... which they usually are)

New Tool: FR Minitools

Currently sporting:

'When do I need to nest to hatch on x date'

'When will my hatchies grow up' (also 'how old are hatchies that will grow up on x date' for all the dom snipers out there)

'How many generations more do I need to make these dragons breedable' (includes grandfather bug handling)

Scrybabies and reSKIN have also been updated with a new menu style that includes links to all the tools! Once again, all these are manual tools that don't talk to the FR site at all.

re:SKIN Update: Paste your dragon!

For the first time in a while - functional update!

No more having to download dragon (and apparel) images and then find them in your file system - instead, just copy and paste the image!

This option is available on the Skin Preview, Self-Service and Scene Preview pages for apparel and dragon images. Skins will still need to be uploaded.

Regarding the note at the bottom - re:SKIN will delete all true black pixels it finds if the copy process has lost the transparency data (which is what causes the black background issue). This results in a slightly crunchy border around dragons, but it should still be usable. Images with transparency preserved will not be affected!

This should still fall within FR's TOS - the image is being pulled from your computer's clipboard, not from FR. Pasting image urls will not work.

Scrybabies Update: Sandsurges!

Sandsurges are in! Please note that the gene rarity tests I did were not comprehensive, though I am pretty confident. Any errors will be updates as I get more info!

On that note, it looks like Sandies already have the updated gene rarities coming out over the next few months for other breeds.

You can now:

Filter on only the breed you selected

If this is an ancient breed, any gene rarities you select will be for that ancient breed

Include or exclude ancients in the breed rarity selection
