I don’t get why people think/want Vanellope to be “older” in the sequel. My understanding is the arcade characters don’t age because it would be weird if you played Sugar Rush then one day walk in and see the characters all be teenagers for no plot reason. If that were the case then Ralph, Felix, and all the Nicelanders would be a bunch of old people/dead by now.
