MY MASTER PROJECT

CokexAdobexYou is a design project from Coca-Cola and Adobe. They invite creative practitioners to design artwork to celebrate Olympic 2020 in Japan. The key themes are Coca-Cola, sport, movement, strength and unity.

To enhance my skills with more kinds of styles and executions, I have explored different ways to design a graphic artwork. Then I went to the studio and took some portrait photographs, edited them and tried Double Exposure.

The snow storm ‘Beast from the East’ hit England in late February 2018. I have only seen snow for the first time ever since I moved to England. What a good excuse to go out and take some pictures! Then I illustrated one of them to make a poster.

MY MASTER PROJECT

When I first started my Master project, I explored how Advertising and Graphic Design promote for social changes. I researched and collected information about brands, advertisers and feminism. Here are some poster I designed and mocked up whilst sorting out my final topic.

I went to a James Blunt’s concert in Leeds, the UK. To save the memory in a ‘graphic design’ way, I took some pictures during the trip and designed this poster later on.

The first time being in United Kingdom at Mid-Autumn festival. It seems quite strange here. No moon cakes, no lanterns, no celebrations.

I designed this poster for this special Mid-Autumn festival, while thinking about La la land and Vincent Van Gogh.

The new client is a group aiming to bring joy to Vietnamese families, especially happy & meaningful childhood to kids. They provide a wide range of happiness, from little cute Hot Wheel, Barbie to a system of national-wide playgrounds - where kids can be truly kids.
