Ok so I am 28, almost 29

I was 16-17 in the *peak* of Homestuck

I have a halfsibling who is 14ish

Who is reading and obsessed with Homestuck and who has friends who love homestuck, and who is ALREADY PLOTTING FOR THEIR HALLOWEEN COSTUME TO BE TEREZIE

Every time I talk to them (they're adorable and I love them so much) I just get this *massive* whiplash

Like, what year is it? Where am I? How long has it been?

A 10,000 person protest could flip and torch a few cop cars, but 100 people acting independently could cut the valve stems on 100 different cop cars and render them unusable and unrepairable

A 10,000 person protest could smash some windows of businesses and offices, but 100 people could superglue 100 buildings’ locks shut overnight

A 10,000 person protest could loot a few stores, but 100 people skillfully and persistently shoplifting could liberate just as much over time

1,000 people could blockade the construction of an oil pipeline, but it only takes 1 to turn the emergency shutoff valve on an existing one

100 people could camp in treehouses and prevent a clearcutting, but it only takes 1 to spike a few trees to drastically slow them down or even destroy their equipment

I’m not saying that mass actions aren’t important - no doubt, they accomplish things that couldn’t be done otherwise - but be aware of what can get done independently when those protests aren’t coming together. Get creative, stay active, direct action gets the good

I love that LDShadowLady is good at Minecraft but at the same time so bad at it. She built an empire on the ocean but she uses stone tools because she doesn't want to go mining for resources. She has a diamond mending pickaxe but she can't mend it because she has no XP. She wins a battle to collect the most mob heads but when she sees people attacking her base she stops running away to say 'hi guys' and gets slaughtered. She's a professional scam artist but the things she scams people with turn out to be really useful to them so it's not actually a scam. She does a trade with a god's champion for an incredibly important artifact and then eats it on the spot. She got 4 lives on Last Life, bumped it up to 6 and died before her husband who had about 1 for like the entire series. She produces an entire musical. She has a 3/4 death chance on Minecraft Storymode. I love her.

Ring, uncommon ___

These four gemmed rings are held close together with fine chain. Each ring creates a special demiplane inside of it. While wearing the rings, you can use an action to tap one of them against an object that isn’t being worn or carried by another creature and that’s no larger than 1 foot in any dimension. When you do, the object is stored within the ring’s demiplane, followed by a loud “pop,” which is audible out to a range of 30 feet. A demiplane can hold only one object at a time. You can withdraw an item from a demiplane using another action to remove the corresponding ring, at which point the item magically reappears on the ground at your feet. If one or more of the rings are removed against your will, the associated items are also emptied from their demiplanes. ___
