          having not turned to see who entered, abel goes as stiff as a tree, panic now starting to grow in his chest. he didn’t know it was him, & now his ass is going to get handed to him. immediately up & standing, he’s turned towards his boss, already preparing himself to get shipped out. “ i-SIR, i’m sorry, i didn’t realize it was you. “ he can’t even bring himself to give any excuses, he knows they won’t work.

                    If  speaking  from  a  personally stand  point  ,  he'd  throw  this  guy  off  within  a  heartbeat.  But ,  it'd  be  a  horrid  idea  to  let  off  a  great  marksman.  '  I'm  glad  nothing  scares  you  ,  because  you're  going  to  be  targeting  some  anomalous  people  &  I  need  to  be  certain  that  you're  going  to  do  it.  '

“ i got you. it’s gonna be okay, you’re going to be okay.”

                    He wakes in a moment of cold sweat, hands running through his hair with a loud thumping coming from deep inside his chest. There's a sense of HELPLESSNESS as he stares in the dark contents of his room. The male's chest began to tighten, along heavy breaths that escaped his mouth. A hand reaches down & clenches his shirt prior to feeling of a soft arm wrap around his own. He flinches, before remembering Hayden was asleep next to him.  (   this happens so often, he much be bothered to some degree.   )   A moment of relief began to wash over for a moment as the younger softly spoke to him. It was enough to calm the spontaneous breaths.  ❝  I'm sorry, Hayden. I'm still on the battlefield, even in my sleep.  ❞  There's a soft tug on his arm, suggesting to lay back down once again. Which, he does. He began to cool off, & everything felt normal again. Slowly, of course. But, it wasn't before long when he was fast asleep with his son next to him.
